We recieved top notch service from Claudine our primary sales person, Shawna another sales person, Warranty Manager Ashley and Warranty Technician Michael. Claudine and Michael especially had provided exceptional service. All employees that we dealt with at Hopewell Residential Homes have been very professional, responsive and communicative. The homebuilder refused to fill in the the settled ground beside the house even though it is clearly from poorly back filling the excavation. The ground was level when the hardscaping was completed and it settles almost a complete foot. I reached out to the home builder and their response was oh the grading certificate was completed not our problem. Following that the mentioned was that it was over a year old but not completing landscaping for a year is a recommendation they make.Answer from pro:

As you know, we always recommend holding off on completing landscaping for about a year so that the ground has time to settle, and can be leveled out properly before sod is planted. Due to our climate, there is always settlement with front and/or backyards – that’s because as soil thaws, it settles and can create some dips. Because of this, we offer a clay-based fill drop-off option to all our homeowners, as we know that settlement is likely to occur. As you know, we did offer this option to you, which you declined. We are here to support our homeowners, and of course, we always follow not only our process, but building code and warranty guidelines. It has been so stressful with Hopewell... The house took over 1 year to be completed and they still dropped the ball in so many areas of the build. In the past 1 year in my home, I have had so many issues (roof leak in the laundry, ice build-up above precast in the front door, bad toilet system, etc.), all these happening because they dropped the ball while building. However, i truly appreciate Mike and Matt from their team for being great professionals. I want to say thank you to both individuals for going above and beyond on their own to see how they can better my experience. I have not fully lost it with Hopewell because of you both.Answer from pro:

We are still in the process of building our home, but my family and I are confident to say that we're very happy with the professionalism and outstanding work the Hopewell team has provided us so far, especially Kevin and Kayla at Hotchkiss! From meeting with Kevin initially, to finalizing our contract, and to completing our design appointments and everything in between, they made everything so easy for us. Literally like a walk in the park! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new home.Answer from pro:

We just moved into our newly built house at Arbour Lake West this month. It took about 14 months to build. So far, we've had an outstanding experience with Hopewell for our new home construction. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. The craftsmanship displayed in every aspect of the build met my expectations. Diana Sanchez, Customer Experience Specialist, provided great service during the construction phase. She helped accommodate all of our change requests, including last-minute exterior paint color changes. Brent, as the site supervisor, was not only knowledgeable but also helpful even after we took possession. I had a great experience working with Elaine, the sales manager, and her team. Carrie helped us select the right colors and designs. The project was completed on time, and the quality of work is truly commendable. After we moved in, we had some minor issues to fix, and the warranty team sent help. Only grading around the house has not been completed yet. Hopefully, it will be done soon. After a full day of looking at show homes, we were exhausted, but wanted to see one last community. We were there just before close and were met by Kayla. She was so kind, knowledgeable and understanding right away! Out of the many communities and show homes we saw that day, Kayla was by far the most professional. Due to our first interaction with her, we decided to build with her, and Hopewell. No only was Kayla great, but the pricing and products being offered were great. We have met with others in the company, including Kevin, who have all been just as great as Kayla. You can tell a lot about a company from its staff, and Hopewell has hit it out of the park with every employee we have encountered, making the building process so easy. We highly recommend this company, and its staff to help you build your next home!Answer from pro:

One of the worst customer service ever received..They try to pass one year time frame and will extend pending things till end and one year is gone every thing is over. 1)One of the wall needs to be fixed their rep told me they will do everything at annual inspection. They send Drywall guys to fix it and when it came to paint ..Rep said we dont paint walls .. I said where is my fault it was your fault when house was built it was there ...he said you have to pay from your pocket ...why should i 2 ) It took them to install just one Garage door minimum of 1.5 years 3) Garage concrete started chipping out less then a year. Water stands on one corner of garage and winter it becomes slippery ...No solution only excuses 4)siding came off from one side of the house. I sent couple emails to them recently no replies to them.Answer from pro:

We were also able to complete siding repairs in June 2023, which we hope addressed your concerns. We understand the inconvenience caused by the temporary garage door that was installed due to Alberta-wide supply chain challenges. We know temporary measures are not ideal, but we are pleased that we were able to successfully install your permanent garage door this summer. Our commitment to all homes’ optimal performance remains steadfast, and our teams are available and responsive for any further assistance. We signed papers Dec 2021 and took possession Mar 2023 of a single family detached home in Edmonton. The build took about as long as we were advised (yay for setting realistic expectations) and we understood that the pandemic would cause inevitable hiccups. Claudine was very knowledgable and helpful from day 1 and answered all our (my) questions, accommodated multiple visits from us and our parents at odd times, and handled any last min. changes or requests like a rockstar. The customer service reps. we worked with were responsive and were on top of communication so we never felt out of the loop. They were especially great when we noticed an error in the kitchen layout a week before we took possession - they reached out and offered a very reasonable resolution. Adrian (site supervisor) and Mike (warranty) have been both great, friendly, approachable, and our concerns regarding any future or present issues or defects have been addressed promptly and professionally. Adrian pro actively pointed out things during our walk throughs and confirmed they will be noted and fixed at the 3 month warranty trade day; and Mike was very thorough on the day of. He answered all my questions and gave great tips/advice and was very willing to help with any questions we may have as be understood we were first time home owners and this is all new to us. Overall, we gave been very happy with our home and everyone weve worked with at Hopewell.Answer from pro:
