I converted a barely used sunroom/office off of the master bedroom into a walk-in closet/dressing room. Grinyer was the first company I contacted for design ideas and an estimate, and I looked no further. Within less than half an hour I was presented with a design that worked perfectly for the space and preserved the vintage look of my older home, at a very competitive price. High quality materials, excellent workmanship, no surprises, very trustworthy local company. Four months later I am still thrilled with my new dressing room!

Grinyer installed a total of 9 doors in our loft (including 2 sliding closets) and they look terrific! Everyone was a pleasure to work with – starting with the owners Ashley and Andrew, the hilarious measurement technician Larry through to the professional and the polite installers Rob and Cameron. The quality of the materials are great, the installation went smoothly and absolutely everything was on time. What sets this company apart from all the others – the knowledge and quality of the materials and installation, but most importantly the customer service! Everyone from their team was professional, prompt and polite yet personable. The least painful and disruptive process of replacing doors. The doors are beautiful and fit perfectly. At first I thought the cost was too high, however once I compared it with buying from a big box, adding hardware and the time, labor and cost of installation, it was cost effective for me, especially considering there was absolutely no mess! It has totally updated my dated bungalow. I have already recommended them to everyone I know!

Fantastic customer experience! Our sales associate Alex was extremely helpful with desginging a space that fit our needs perfectly. We were also able to see everything in the showroom which made the process seamless. Very happy with our new closets.

Every detail in dealing with Grinyer was a 10 . Jonathan and Bob have just completed the installation , a 4 1/2 hour process . Professional , courteous , knowledgeable , they treated our home as if it was their own . Thank you to a great team .

We had 9 doors replaced, including 5 closets: 1 bi-fold, 1 mirrored double sliding door, and 3 double panels. The front hall closet also needed an organizer. Alex came to assess the job and made some helpful suggestions, and then we visited the showroom to work out the details (knobs, colour, style). During the second in-home appointment, each frame / hinge / knob height was precision-measured, and then the doors were custom-cut to match the existing setup, which minimized the amount of re-drilling and framework. (This final cutting/painting process took about eight weeks to complete -- summer is a busy time, apparently.) Our home is over 60 years old and has settled a bit, so none of the door frames are exactly at right angles anymore. Cutting and hanging off-the-shelf doors ourselves would have been a nightmare. I'd say that the price was at the high end of my expected range, but the one-day installation and clean-up was worth it. Nine doors and a 5'x8' closet organizer (seven shelves and two coat racks) took about 5 hours to install. They took away all of the old doors for us, too. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Also, I believe that the kids enjoyed every moment of their visit to the showroom, which allowed the grown-ups to talk. It was a small showroom, as showrooms go, but "there are doors and doors behind these doors! ooh a giant walk-in closet with a CHANDELIER! Can I have this? Why are all these doors on the wall?" Only one is the way out. The rest have tigers.

Grinyer installed in our condo 2 bi-fold doors on laundry room , 2 hall doors and new shelving plus a wallboard with hooks etc. for our utility room . From the owners (Ashley & Andrew) , to the sales person (Alex), to the installers (Kevin & Brian) , everyone was very professional , helpful, courteous and polite. We are very pleased with the materials used and the final result after installation. The installers did great work & were very thorough with the cleanup afterward. The materials were delivered and installed within the time period promised at the time we signed the contract. As you can tell we are Very Happy Customers.
