Colin was a real trooper, as tracing an electrical fault that is buried behind dry wall is not easy work. He spent long hours over 2 1/2 days making sure he got the job done, and although we were obviously concerned about potentially rising costs, Colin went above-and-beyond to make sure that costs were as reasonable as possible. He also discovered and fixed several safety hazards that were kindly left by the previous DIY owners, some 20 years ago. He explained everything (in layman terms) before proceeding with the work, and also showed us all the components he replaced so we could see the damage for ourselves. Not only was he pleasant and helpful, but was not prepared to leave any of the safety hazards unattended to, and we admired his integrity in this regard. It seems strange to say that we feel safer after some electrical work in our home, but we really do. We would recommend Colin to anyone in a flash (pardon the pun), and in fact my wife has already told many of her friends about this special man.

Colin was able to determine and fix a problem with our electrical panel quickly and efficiently. He did a wonderful job and we would highly recommend his work.

I can't say enough good things about Colin. He was able to fit me into a busy week to troubleshoot an issue where my homes main breaker was tripping. His attention to detail uncovered several defeciencies in my houses electrical work, and he fixed them immediately in hopes that they were the cause... Unfortunately, to spite his hard efforts, it was simply looking like my main breaker had seen its day after decades of hard work, and was no longer able to handle the load of our families power demands. Colin offered some options to stretch its life a little longer, but we agreed that the safest and most prudent option was to replace the entire panel. The work that he did in my crammed little closet is absolutely amazing. I know it sounds strange to be so proud of an electric panel, but the cleanup that he performed, and the new equipment that he installed is really a work of art compared to what it used to be. He was one of the nicest contractors that I have let into my house, he cleaned up after his work was complete, explained everything to me throughout the job, ensured that I saw the value in his products/services, and left me feeling extremely safe once he found and corrected so many things that were questionable with my setup. I would whole heartedly recommend Colin to anyone looking for an electrician.
