My husband and I are renovating our house and at the time of getting a quote to install flooring in our basement, we noticed dampness in some areas of the floor. The basement was stripped due to some previous work to replace the clay pipes. We called in three (3) companies to assess the situation and suggest a solution. I experienced a leak in my basement foundation walls over the summer in October 2023. After calling two other well-known waterproofing companies in Toronto to obtain quotations to have exterior waterproofing completed on the leaking wall, I decided to go with Waterproofing PD based on my positive interaction with Edgar, one of the company's owners. Edgar's vast experience in waterproofing is evident as he thoroughly explained the entire scope of work to me as well as the timeline to complete the work. The team of workers from Waterproofing PD showed up to my house everyday on time and worked extremely hard to get the job done within the prescribed timeframe, while ensuring my backyard and landscaping was adequately protected. Edgar showed up on site as well to ensure the work was being completed correctly by the team. After the work was completed, the my backyard was left spotless!
