My first contact with Mathew was by "text" after I had a chance to review his website. I left him a brief text message and he called me back a short time later. We spoke for awhile on the phone about what I wantedto accomplish in my backyard. He asked me what size shed I had purchased and to take some pictures of the proposed area of the yard I wanted to build the base. On that same initial conversation he was able to confirm a date and time to do the job as well as a confirmed price. He showed up on time and I was very pleased with the work. At the conclusion of the job everything was left spotless. He also said he guarantees his work and he was just a phone call away. I would recommend Mathew to friends and neighbours.

Swing set was assembled professionally within the estimated time. Communication and scheduling was also spot on. Pricing was competitive.

Matt did a fantastic job, both in terms of the quality of work as well as how he helped me figure out the best approach. I had bought the Lifetime shed from Costco without figuring out the best way to install the base. I was initially planning on putting in limestone and patio stones as the base. I had spoken with a couple of friends. Matt shared his experience in the difficulty leveling and how a concrete base or another approach would be better. After several phone calls with Matt, speaking with a few other friends with more experience, and researching online, it became clear that the most efficient, long lasting approach would be the one Matt came up with. I did not want to use concrete, as I was not sure what the backyard set-up would be down the road. He also helped me search through zoning requirements for my neighbourhood, and was able to complete the task quite efficiently. I can recommend the Shed Guy without reservation. His experience building sheds, the phone calls and conversations with myself as I tried to figure out the best approach for myself, and his professionalism were second to none. He did a fantastic job and I would recommend him to friends who need help with their shed.
