    Toilet wax ring replacement

    I called on Saturday morning saying I needed wax ring on toilet replaced. Was told that it would be much cheaper if I could wait until after weekend,I agreed and was told they would call back when they checked availability. No call from them but guy appeared Monday morning. I was suffering from flu and just wanted job done. Found the cost exorbitant and would never use them again.

    sewage drain backed up to my kitchen sink - paid for an incomplete job

    Mike and David from The Irish Plumber in Kanata came to my house to fix a sewer drain clog. Dave spent 3 hours then Mike joined him for another hour and a half but couldn't fix the problem. I was charged $1385 for an incomplete job. Mike then gave me a second quote of $1600 to cut the basement and replace the pipe. I called for a second opinion from my friend who is a construction worker. He rented a machine that cost $85 and fixed the problem within an hour. Lesson learned: do your home work before calling a plumber!

    Hi Christine Iam sorry if you think that you were misled but we clearly showed you with our drain camera that you had a sag in your building drain under the basement slab . We cleared the blockage showed you that the pipe was clear except for a 25 ft section that had standing water in it even after we cleared the blockage. When the camera goes into water then comes out and there is no clear blockage that means you have an issue with the pipe that is not sloped properly . You wasted your friends time and another $85 , he did not fix anything because the drain was already cleared by us . Your drain will block again in a couple of months and then maybe you will realise what we were talkin about .

    Leaking water meter connection and corroded cast iron waste stack.

    I called several local plumbers re problems listed in review title. Messages left but NO call backs. Found Irish Plumber on-line and decided to give them a try(based on excellent reviews).I phoned @ 1 PM and a human being (Michael) answered the phone. He said he could possibly come that afternoon and would get back to me after checking his schedule. He contacted me an hour later saying he was on his way and arrived at 3 PM. Job was completed by 5:30 PM. Work was well done. Site clean-up excellent. I would absolutely recommend this company to others!

    Plumbing And pipe replacement

    Mike and David did a great job at my house. They scoped out the cast iron, identified many issues, and did a huge replacement. Very good job, neat and tidy, courteous and fairly priced. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

    Bathroom

    "To start, I loved the name : "The Irish Plumber" . It was original , obviously some thought went into it! Then came stellar, same day service. Michael was personable, & professional, with attention to detail & clean up! The bonus? His accent made me want to visit Ireland!

    Leaky faucet

    The Irish Plumber was great, he came very quickly after we called for a quote and was communicative through the process as we waited for the part to be stocked. He was on time, was very thorough in his assessment at trying to diagnose our issue and was able to solve it quickly and painlessly. He's a great guy to talk with also!

    Multiple home plumbing upgrades.

    We were extremely pleased with the numerous plumbing jobs The Irish Plumber did for us, and would definitely recommend Michael to friends and family. He was efficient, completed all work in a timely manner. Throughly cleaned up afterwards. He was here when he said he would be and provided us with accurate quotes. A pleasure to do business with.

    Bathtub leak repair

    Mike from The Irish Plumber is a pro and fixed my leaking bathtub very quickly and the work performed was top notch. I am very happy with the professional service received and it was refreshing to see that there are still companies out there like The Irish Plumber who care about customer service. I recommend calling The Irish Plumber whenever you have any plumbing issues or even need any home improvements.. such as plumbing for a wet bar :)

    Replacing cast iron with ABS

    We hired the Irish Plumber (Michael) to replace the cast iron in our 1950s home to ABS. Michael arrived on time and was very respectful of our home. His work was thorough and he didn't hesitate to answer my numerous questions! He took the time to make sure I understood exactly what he was doing and he was more than happy to provide advice about future projects. We wouldn't hesitate to contact him again - in fact, when we finish our basement, we will definitely reach out to him.

    Hose Bib Replaced and Toilet Repair

    I was super impressed with Michael's quick response and professionalism. He was most friendly, very knowledgeable and the service was completed promptly and at a competitive price. I would definitely recommend him and will use his services again.
