    Basement Mold

    In looking at updating our fireplace, our contractor was concerned that there might be mold in the back of our basement . After having the necessary air quality tests completed, receiving confirmation that we had a problem, and on their recommendation we contacted Healthy Home to handle the problem. Even though it was a Sunday, Gabriel immediately contacted us to make arrangements for the inevitable "lockdown" once we confirmed that we had a son with heart & lung issues. Right from the beginning, Gabriel and his team went above and beyond the call of duty. They ensured that our possessions were carefully cleaned and wrapped. They put in very long hours to make sure that the job was done quickly and accurately. And, less than a week later, we got the clearance we needed. Gabriel's team (Eric, Pablo & Diego) were extremely dedicated workers and we cannot thank them enough for their hard work. I have never been a "basement" person, but our basement is now so clean that even I will spend time down there. Since then, we have hired Gabriel to help with locking down our family room while we have the fireplace finally removed (no mold)& upgraded. That job as well was handled with the same dedication and professionalism. Highly recommend Healthy Home Center.

    Basement Inulation Cleanup

    I just can't say enough about how Gabriel and his crew and how they tackled our basement to rid us of the moldy insulation found above the basement walls. They prepped, isolated and wrapped all our furniture, covered all the flours with plastic in advance of cutting thru the ceilings. They were so quiet I had to check if they were actually there. They did a wonderful job and I would and (will) recommend Gabriel and his crew to all my friends or anyone who has the need as we did. Thank You Gabriel and all your crew

    Basement treatment for mold

    Gabriel from Healthy Home Centre was recommended to me to do the much needed repairs and treatment in my leaky basement. His team removed a huge amount of debris as well as an old poorly built bathroom that was taking on water and had developed mold. They cleaned the entire basement working quickly and efficiently and I was very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend them.

    Whole home cleaning

    10+ Gabriel is one of a kind. I have already recommended him to several others. I feel fortunate to have had this level of service and am grateful for the level of care we received. My questions were answered, my concerns addressed, the work completed thoroughly, respectfully and on time. I could go on. Gabriel and your team, we sincerely thank you.

    Our daughter Condo

    Basement rebuild

    We hired Gabriel to rebuild our basement this spring after his team gutted it the previous winter due to mould and moisture issues. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the work completed. We now have a comfortable and healthy basement for our family to enjoy. Gabriel went the extra mile to answer all our questions, complete the project to meet our needs and take on additional work discovered during the renovations to ensure all the work was completed on time. Gabriel's crew is extremely talented and does top notch work. Gabriel worked closely with our consultant to ensure the project was completed as designed to prevent future issues. I would not hesitate to hire Gabriel again if needed.

    Asbestos Tile Removal from Living Room Floor

    A few months ago I called several asbestos abatement companies for quotes and Gabriel Zaragoza at Healthy Home Center was the only one to answer the phone directly and arrange for a prompt site visit to provide a quote. All details as to the removal and disposal process were explained in great detail, plus Gabriel was able to do the work within a few days of calling him. Gabriel performed this particular work personally along with the help of several crew members, and everything was completed professionally and on schedule as estimated. He even provided a copy of his disposal receipt from the waste site to verify that the asbestos tiles were disposed of properly. I can highly recommend his services.

    A Professional at the Top of His Game!

    In the spring of 2017, I discovered a serious mold issue in my newly purchased home. It was undetectable at the time of purchase, and I had been getting sick but had no idea why. I was forced to leave my home while air quality testing was conducted. Five types of mold were detected at amplified levels, and Gabriel was recommended for the remediation work by Indoor Air Quality Ottawa. Thank goodness for that!! Gabriel's level of professionalism, knowledge, expertise, dedication, honesty, care, compassion and communication throughout this project was something you just don't experience that much nowadays, and was a breath of fresh air (pardon the pun!). He and his amazing staff did the initial cleaning of my home, then the major remediation work and finally the rebuild of perimeter walls in my basement with new insulation and drywall. It was so impressive! His crew were dedicated, super-polite and respectful and took incredible care with my furniture and possessions, as if they were working on their own home. Under such stressful circumstances, it was a huge relief to have "an angel" like Gabriel working on my behalf. Beyond satisfied and beyond grateful! -Janet P.

    Passionate about his work!

    We were very concerned when we found mould in our basement while removing insulation, and even more concerned when we realized that the mould spores had been inadvertently spread throughout our home. Thank goodness for Gabriel and his team who were beyond amazing. Gabriel was patient when explaining the mould remediation work to us, and throughout the process he was available to answer questions and address concerns. To say they were thorough is a real understatement. They cleaned the home from top to bottom using only cleaners that were safe for use with our young daughter who has chronic breathing problems and asthma. The bulk of the work was done in our basement, where they cleaned and isolated our HVAC while safely removed the remaining insulation, spray-treating the studs and joists, and wiped down or hepa vacuumed all of our surfaces and basement storage. They even went so far as to individually wipe each DVD case. They were respectful of our space, they went above and beyond in their work, and most importantly the completion air testing showed that the air throughout our home was probably the cleanest it had ever been. We would not hesitate to recommend them!

    Mold Removal

    The basement of our new home was not properly insulated which resulted in moisture and mold growth. The builder opened the vapour barrier in many places without sealing the basement off properly from the rest of the house allowing mold spores to escape into the rest of the house. Having a infant at home made this situation even more stressful since his health could be compromised. Fortunately, Gabriel from Healthy Home Center told us that his team would be cleaning the entire house and that all our son's toys would be safe to use again. When we returned home, our house was extremely clean, in fact it was cleaner than the day that I got the keys to move into our brand-new home in the first place. We are extremely grateful to Gabriel and his team for making our home a safe and healthy place for our baby to live in. Thank you so much Gabriel!
