    Quick and Courteous

    We used personal movers this week and we're very pleased with service. Booking the appointment was painless and accommodating. The 2 movers were very nice, hard working young men and they took direction very well when told specifics of our move. We'll be hiring them back when our project in the basement is complete. Thank guys!

    Loading and unloading storage pod.

    The guys were careful loading and unloading our belongings from one house to another and they were quick.

    Bedroom furniture move 54 Watermark Villas

    Move 5 piece bedroom suite between 2 Calgary locations. Courteous and efficient. No concerns to express.

    Best Move Ever!

    I’ve moved many times and have used various movers over the years and Personal Movers has been, by far, the best ones yet. They were punctual, professional and efficient. Nothing was damaged as they wrapped and shrink wrapped everything. The 3 men that did our move were a well oiled machine; they were a fast and careful team. Job very well done!

    Local Move

    Short haul move within Calgary. Very efficient, friendly and courteous. No surprise costs. Were easy to reach via phone and answered all my questions quickly. Quote and contract were straight forward. The movers followed covid protocols. Thx to a great team.

    Excellent job on local move

    Disassembled, moved and reassembled a treadmill for me. Excellent work, communication and timeliness. Highly recommend.

    Local move in Calgary

    I'd recommend them in a heartbeat - I moved a one bedroom apartment in downtown Calgary and everything was a terrific experience, from booking with Arliss to the three guys moving the apartment. Everyone was courteous, professional, and took extreme care of my goods. They were timely, sensitive to all fragile items, and had three movers come to complete the job, meaning that it was complete in a shorter timeframe.

    Impressive Moving Service!

    We were very impressed with these guys! They were extremely careful with all of our belongings and treated them like it was their own! They were very professional and even asked my daughter where she wanted her furniture put in her room instead of just throwing it in there! Also they were quite quick moving us from a 2400 sq foot house into a place with 31 stairs! They were just up and down the stairs non stop with no breaks.. I recommend personal movers to everyone!

    Very polite and professional

    Personal Movers were great. They were on time, very polite, and even wrapped a few items that I didn't think to wrap. They took excellent care of my belongings and nothing was damaged. At the the end of the day when I got the bill I was surprised to see that there was a $145 travel fee that I wasn't aware of ahead of time. I found this odd as it was only a 13km drive from the old house to my new home. I think the travel fee is a bit steep, but other than that I enjoyed their service.

We would like to take this opportunity to address the $145 travel fee you mention in your review. This is a one time dispatch/travel fee charged for the moves done inside of Calgary. We always disclose this fee on the phone if you call in for a quote and then again in the confirmation e-mail that is sent to the customer prior to deposit payment and prior to the moving day. If you have a chance please review the confirmation e-mail that was sent to you prior to your moving day and you would see the fee mentioned in the quote. This fee is not charged to cover for the travel between your pick up and drop off locations. Therefore, if it would be 25 km between the locations or 5 km the fee would stay the same. We hope this helps to clarify this and we apologize if we failed to bring this to your attention prior to your booking.
