Forgot to install gutters and drains I bought a Park Royal Homes home in 2024 and was a first-time buyer, but they forgot to install gutters and drains when they built the home. Since the end of April, when the delivery of the home ended, we have sent several emails a week asking for help with this problem. Each time they have responded to me that they will install them as soon as possible. I emailed customer service to tell them about the impact on my home because they forgot to install it, as well as a comparison picture of the exterior of my house from the end of April to the end of July and a couple of large puddles that have formed in the aisles. I need the person in charge or a manager to contact us, but no one in charge has ever responded. I would not recommend anyone to buy a house from them; the after-sales service is always delayed!

We have been especially pleased with the customer service provided by Patti and more recently, Diana. They always aimed to be helpful and responsive. Even though I’m sure we were annoying at times with so many questions, they always appeared happy to help. Larran was our site supervisor at the start and he really seemed passionate about his work- he took pride in solving issues and being knowledgeable in the different trades. Pat was our other site supervisor and was always so approachable and Colin (from head office) was always very quick to return any phone call. I would recommend Park Royal because when I compare our experience to some of my neighbours who are with other builders, I feel like Park Royal values good customer service. They work hard and have always kept their word.

I bought a new house in 2019 . I noticed a plastic piece missing from the roof frame wood is visible due to this and rain is damaging it . I contacted their customer service i got a replied back after a month. And they said that they do not cover any damage that occur due to high wind . I did not expect that from them but i dont recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Park Royal Homes was great. They made it easy from start to finish. They were able to answer every question and concern that we had. The house is built excellently with a lot of upgrades as it was a showhome. They were very reasonable with negotiating and met at a price where it worked out for both sides. They were very quick to respond and understood that we were under a time crunch. Their sales rep, Graham in Aspen Trails, was amazing to work with. He went out of his way to help us every step of the way with the numerous questions we had as being first time home buyers. Graham always answered his phone in a quick or reasonable amount of time. Graham is very knowledgeable in regards to the whole home buying process and if he was not sure on something, he would find out right away for us. The home we purchased was one of the first homes we looked at in our search. We looked at so many other homes and nothing compared to how much we loved the one we ended up buying. The entire experience with Park Royal Homes was great and will recommend to anyone going forward!

Our home was built in 2001, we were not the original owner although we did purchase the house in 2003. I am utterly disappointed from what I have noticed in the build! This is a 2 Storey house with a TV room above the garage, the roof of the garage is not inline with the wall of the bonus room! Halfway along the face of the exterior wall the trusses are not square! Even though this is now June 2019, I am lost for words and frustrated. We had been experiencing water leaking into the garage, I had paid for the full replacement of refinishing the exterior siding and trim. We still are experiencing a considerable leak. This isn’t a simple settling of the ground! I know this with pictures of proof from 2003 when we first purchased the home! I am not even sure how it had passed inspection.... I would not build with this company!

Built with ParkRoyal in Aspen Trails sh pk. Moved Apr 2018 and still having issues. We had 43 issues on list (emails to prove this) and still not resolved. When we moved in I told them our shower was not draining properly. They came out and “fixed it” and on our 31st day water came through the basement ceiling and damaged my coffee table too. Have not received any compensation. The plumber came out days later and showed Larren their supv and I the photo of a toilet paper roll being used as part of the plumbing under the shower. I was appalled. Issues include missing screens for weeks and it was a hit summer and could not open windows, missing light fixtures, microwave not installed and missing trim kit, wall not painted and showing green dry wall and no baseboard in master ensuite, fireplace completely tiled over unlike plans showing opening for tv to be hung; damaged floors and cupboards, cut my upgraded counters incorrectly and did not put in tip out under sink; shelves missing in laundry room, broken window put in, put up lights with finger prints, when shower leaked workers left hand prints over walls and eventually I cleaned as cleaners did not come for 6 weeks, did not put taps on tub as per plan and came back to fix but did not put wand in tub as paid for, deck nailer placed on back of house when it was cancelled and had to add siding afterwards and the list goes on. Some of these things have been fixed or I have allowed a solution for. I asked for some compensation but was told that I was given 3 under counter storage units for no cost. This was the solution for not getting the tip out. However they put in ones that were not agreed on and do not fit. We thought the cost was good but in the end every upgrade costs so much you are better off with a different builder. I have not shared most of my issues, just a couple and I have the emails and pictures to support these comments. This was my 5th build and the worst. If building in this area, go with Coventry Homes. We used them for our Emerald Hills home and would recommend them by far. We had a couple of issues with them but they stood by and fixed them. Even compensated us for things that were not directly their fault but the trades they used. I Believe that there is always going to be a few issues but it is how you go about fixing the issues. DO NOT BUILD WITH PARK ROYAL. I am only doing this review to save you the grief we have endured.

We bought our first new Home from Park Royal Homes at Crystallina Nera Way NW in the North East of Edmonton. Our experience with Park Royal Homes has been amazing. During close out/walk through training, the Builder explained all that we needed to know from insurance to the operations of our appliances. We haven't any significant issue with the house. A few concerns were immediately taken care of. Communication with Park Royal Homes Customer service has just been great. This is a great builder and they care about the satisfaction of their homes owner. I will recommend and use them for my future work.

We bought our first new home from Park Royal Homes at Crytallina Nera - North East Edmonton. Since we moved in we haven't had any issues. Before we moved in things were explained to us in detail at their office and subsequently during a walk through/teaching session. They did an amazing job by showing us how everything worked in our new home and warranties. The house was very clean both in and outside. Subsequent support and communication has been amazing. We are happy and definitely will consider them for future work.

They cut corners every where. Employ unskilled non ticketed contractors. They just want your money. Take no pride in what they do. They are a business that some how got into building homes, instead of being a home builder that grew into a business. They didn't even clean my place before I moved in. There is a reason they are not Accredited by the Better Buisness Buro.
