I would highly recommend Jason from Budget Rooter. He made sure that the problem was fixed and tested it several tones before he left. Which is unlike other plumbing companies which were hired prior.

Jason added a new main water shut off valve, replaced the thermostat in my bathroom mixing valve and added caulking around my kitchen counter. I was pleased with the work he did and fully recommend this company.

Jason was very helpful from the first contact. He is very honest and always quock to respond to my calls or texts. He came to see the job and he presented all the different options that i had. He was punctual and did a very good and thorough job. His quote was also the best out of all i received. I was looking for a plumber and contacted homestars which then i was contacted by Budget Rooter , Jason. He is very friendly, polite , was very quick to replay back to me. I was having issues ordering the part from home depot. Jason offered to buy the parts for me and then he came to install it. Clean job he did. Labour is very affordable compared to other plumbers. I needed a dishwasher supply valve and line replacement so decided to give HomeStars a try. Was able to arrange the whole thing with Jason from Budget Rooter online from my desk while working. The other contractors all wanted me to call them on the phone but arranging it online was way easier for me. Jason came and did the work right when he said he would, for exactly the quote he gave me ahead of time. He even re-leveled out the dishwasher itself. Really great. Would definitely hire him again.

I was shopping around for local plumbers to fix a Victorian bathtub drain that had gotten jammed from misuse. We were originally expecting this to cost in the neighbourhood of $200-$300, but the first contractor that came by gave us 3 quotes which ranged from $1900-$2200 (they claimed the entire drain system was 'illegally installed' and needed to be replaced, which we weren't responsible for as the tenants). Then I requested a quote through Homestars and was was contacted by Jason from Budget Rooter. He came by that evening and managed to remove the damaged drain piece within less than 20 minutes, and the final price ended up being about half of what we had originally expected to pay. Absolutely wonderful experience, and I'm extremely grateful he didn't try to gouge me like the previous company. Would *highly* recommend his services for any plumbing issues you may have!

I received excellent service from Jason, who was able to assist me with the removal of a stuck shower cartridge within one hour of requesting assistance. I would highly recommended Budget Rooter.

Our kitchen sink trap leaked last night. It got busted, to be more accurate. Given how much we are now cooking at home, we needed to have it fixed quickly. And Jason was able to do just that. Jason responded promptly to a photo of the problem to let us know that he would be able to help and fix it easily. He gave us a very reasonable quote and said he would just check if he has the parts and then be able to arrive at our place first thing in the morning. Sure enough, he messaged first thing in the morning to let us know his ETA and showed up shortly thereafter. He had the parts and tools ready to go, and quickly took out the broken trap, cleaned the pipes, applied tape and seal to the new trap, etc. All done in a matter of minutes. He kept the repair area tidy, cleaned up and tested to make sure it was not leaky. What I liked was that he gave us a price, knew exactly what part was needed, brought it with him, and was able to make the repair in no time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I would definitely ask for Jason's help again in the future, if I run into any other problems & would recommend him for sure.

Needed a new kitchen faucet installed to replace the old one, and some valves installed. Jason was quick to respond, arrived on time, and did excellent work. He was polite and professional throughout, and even pointed out an unrelated valve that was wearing out and should be replaced (without being pushy about it). I would definitely hire Jason again. Highly recommended.

With the current pandemic concerns, I was worried about hiring a contractor but desperately needed my toilet fixed and sink drain repaired and couldn’t wait any longer since my wife and I both work from home. Jason was over same day and easily fixed my drain - a bit of hair had the plunger locked down - and fixed the toilet gasket that was improperly installed by another contractor. He kept me in the loop the whole way along and did not make any unnecessary repairs. Very pleased with his service and care, and with his professionalism around physical distance and cleanup when he was done. I would definitely recommend Jason (Budget Rooter) and will keep him in my file in case something else comes up.
