Installed Washer/Dryer Pedestals, then flooded our laundry room

Tech installed pedestals properly underneath the wash & dryer But broke a hose when reattaching hoses that flooded a portion of the room. Company wont take any liability after 2 more technicians returned to fix the leak, and it continues. Flooded the area around the units in the room, because the drain couldnt handle the amount of water, damaging baseboards and subsequently walls behind. Now 2 months later still trying to have them take some responsibility which they are not and putting our children are at risk of possible mold etc. Company is NOT to be Trusted.

    Dishwasher

called, spoke to man to book repair for my renters dishwasher. This is a newer unit aprox 3 ish years old. confirmed the details, advising that had to be after 3 as i work till then and the renters prefer this time. Told them to call me when they are going there so i could meet them as they were due between 3-6pm that day got a msg and call that the repair man was at the vestibule of the condo now, i was driving and 10 minutes away. Arrived at the condo, tech had dishwasher out, with plate off, and said to look to the left side as he thinks found the problem, I have a leak. He showed me a leak in the drain discharge hose, this is possible cause for the LE error code and he unit not running properly. I thought ok, but watched him pushing buttons in his phone calculator, with number 354 showing on the screen. He proceeds to tell me that he can replace the hose with LABOUR for $390. I said what? told him I paid $599 for the machine, that i could replace it again. He emphasized that it included LABOUR. Now this is pretty expensive labour but he said the part is expensive. I said not just charge the service call thats it, I'll figure it out. My renter looked at me in shock, so i waited for him to figure the bill, and proceeded to say it was $109 for the call plus tax. What, yes he said i was told this at the booking. NO NO NO i was not told anything of the kind. I paid the bill and he left. I then come home, to AMAZON, with the model number, i found two OE hoses listed one for $114 and the other for $146, plus a universal one at $38. Its a drain hose guys, nothing more. I received a call the next day from some guy at the Dial a appliance, trying to salvage the Deal. he explained that the part was get this....$168 and wanted to know if i wanted to purchase it from him. I said no, i will look after. This guy tried to say the service call amount could be part of the repair of $390. This was never explained, just the part and labour at $390. I assumed the $109 would be added on. Further, they took my email, and i was told it was for billing. Well, NOT, this tech printed a small receipt off those hand held units and said that was it. REALLY hmmm PLEASE PLEASE, try to not rip off any one else, TRY not think CASH COW when a landlord calls for service. This company I will NEVER use, and will advise our Condo association to advise the owners to stay away from. Along with anyone else i can announce to. Labour is expensive, but you are gouging greedily.

    Fridge repair

Very unprofessional. I had to keep on calling them instead of them contacting me giving the estimate. And each time I had a different person talking to me. Not knowledgeable at all. On their first visit, they told me Sensor replacement is needed. When they went to finish the job was told needs a compressor as well. I had no choice but to let them finish the job. After the repairs left so much mess for my tenant. Shall never hire them again.

Went above and beyond troubleshooting leaking washing machine

Don went above and beyond with some advanced troubleshooting and handyman extras. Troubleshooted my leaky washing machine. It turned out to be the shower next to the washing machine that was leaking. He suspected the shower fairly quickly. We took the washing machine and dryer out of the enclosure first. He made some quick checks that the washing machine was not leaking and tested it. We then tested the tub and shower and found the problem. He even helped point me toward a hopefully quick possible shower repair. He is not a plumber so I needed to do it myself or call a plumber. I was willing to try things so at his suggestion, I unscrewed the shower head from the wall, added silicone tape (from him), and carefully rescrewed it back in (the socket was inside the wall). This unfortunately did not fix the problem but was a good, easy first attempt. He marked likely spots where I could make holes in the drywall to find the leaky pipe. He was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. He only charged me a 1h diagnostic fee of $100. (I made those holes in the drywall and could not find the leak at first. The problem ended up being a broken solder joint behind the tub outlet. It was repaired by a plumber. The back-pressure from the shower-head caused the leaking to occur.)
