    Front yard renovation

    We hired Blue Onion to remove the existing lawn and replace it with two garden beds and a small stone section, leaving the existing walkway intact. Dmitry was communicative throughout and his team was exceptionally hard working. They were respectful of our properties as well as the neighbors. The end result looks great and we're very satisfied with the work completed.

    Quality and friendly service!

    Dmitry and his team were a pleasure to have complete our landscaping project. We had a retaining wall, new walkway and sod done in the front yard. We replaced two retaining walls with steps and had raised gardens and sod done in the back yard. Dmitry was able to provide recommendations and advice to ensure our project was long lasting and suitable for our needs. He kept us up to date and informed every step of the way. His crew was professional and friendly. The cost was reasonable (and on budget) and it was well worth the care and attention to detail he and his crew showed throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Blue Onion to anyone who needs landscaping services.

    Backyard Makeover

    I cannot recommend Dmitry and his team at Blue Onion more highly. I requested a very extensive quote and Dmitry patiently worked with me to prioritize which items to move forward with and which could be saved for another time (he never pressured me to exceed my budget). They demolished the existing decks and fences in my yard, and removed the existing (badly graded) interlock. Dmitry built a garden oasis. He designed and built flower beds with an irrigation system, regraded everything and put down field stones spaced out to grow steppables in between and put up new fences. At every step Dmitry made suggestions that were practical and ensured I’d get the result I wanted. He genuinely cared and made sure I knew how to plant and care for gardens. Final results were amazing and completed on time and within budget. Dmitry and his entire team are a pleasure to work with. I plan to work with them on future projects. Highly recommend.

    Backyard Update

    We are very happy with our decision to move ahead with Blue Onion Landscaping and look forward to future projects. The entire team was extremely professional, prompt and produced high quality work. Thanks to them we have a new place to vacation this year – our back yard! We discovered Blue Onion Landscaping through Homestar reviews. We had a few projects in mind and worked with Dmitry to understand the timing, cost, and design for each. Dmitry offered several options to match our lifestyle and worked patiently with us to investigate which project will work best for us. Dimitry was flexible, professional, and listened closely to our concerns and would always have ideas and solutions. He provided a few quotes for a front garden, a fence, french drain, a concrete slab for a shed, interlocking and a retaining wall. We ended up on deferring some, and went ahead with the patio, retaining wall & fence. All materials arrived 1 week before the work began and it took the team around 2 weeks to complete the work, as committed. The entire team exceeded our expectations, thank you guys! Great work.     Garden bed creation

    Dmitry and his team created some beautiful garden beds in our front yard, and helped to carefully select just the right perennials to plant there. Dmitry did a detailed and thoughtful consult, sharing his extensive landscaping expertise. He was very communicative, transparent and honest, and we are very satisfied with the process and end result. Thanks very much, Blue Onion!

    Backyard patio stone and fence

    I am very happy with the end result of Dmitry and his team's work. The quality of the work was excellent and Dmitry made several suggestions that improved the overall result. The team was friendly and professional. The team completed the job in less time than originally anticipated and cleaned up after themselves each day. Dmitry ensured that I was completely satisfied and addressed any issues in a timely manner. At times, the administrative side was inefficient requiring several back and forth communications for clarification purposes, however Dmitry remained engaged and quick to respond to address the questions that arose. Overall, I would recommend working with Dmitry and his team.

    New Walkway/Entranceway & Backyard Garden Curb and Grass

    Marat and his team were exception with their design, and build of our front steps and walkway. They rebuilt our aging front porch and walkway. They also built a new fence in the backyard and installed grass and a garden curb. The team was highly organized, good communication and extremely professional, and great to work with. They paid attention to detail, they listened to us as we brought forward questions, and design updates, and they were extremely mindful of the mess. It was a stress free experience, we were able to go on with our day whilst the team worked away. Highly recommended.

    Concrete pad, grading and sodding.

    Great job from the guys at blue onion, they leveled and sod 2000sqft of my backyard, added mulch around the trees and added a 500sqft of concrete for the shed and patio. Great results and on budget. My kid are enjoying the backyard. Thanks again

    Excellent Job

    Dimitry did an excellent job. He has excellent team who goes above and beyond the expectation and deliver the best result. My carport was in very bad shape. I needed it to be repaired before winter kicks in mere days. From providing brand new metal support for the carport to replacing the existing concrete with nice stones; everything was done perfectly and in time. You wont regret by hiring him. Highly recommended.

    Sidewalk rebuild/resurface

    Rated the best. Did a repair job which had been botched up by another contractor. Dimitri and workers are perfectionists. Kept the time line and did the whole job as was outlined by Dimitri's estimate, I would readily recommend this company to anyone. Good Luck to you and family. Richard
