    Toilet install

    Called Grizzly on the referral of a local Facebook group and I was not disappointed. Calvin came and installed our new toilet, taking away the old one and even removing the box that the new one came in. Came on time, polite, professional, and was done within about an hour. Highly recommend this new company.

    Plumbing issue / repair to (kitchen) drain & pipes

    We were more than impressed and pleased with the prompt arrival and work that Brad completed at our house – would recommend him unreservedly. He is extremely professional, well priced for the work, and best of all a good guy to have come work on any plumbing issues!

    Leaking pipes & exploding faucet

    Brad has fixed a number of plumbing issues for us. We meant him on a referral from a friend. He has fixed small leaking pipes, larger bathtub plumbing issues and exploding frozen pipes for us. On every occasion he responded immediately, shown up the same day and properly assessed and completed the project. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend Brad and his team.

    Boiler Repair

    My boiler was going on and off intermittently. Brad came in and fixed it within 10 seconds and explained the part that needed to be replaced. He then performed a test and inspection (which I learned is required annually) and went on his way. Very knowledgeable and personable.

    Plumbing Repair

    Brad and the team were excellent on a challenging repair in an inconvenient spot. They identified the issue quickly, worked hard to find the least disruptive approach to the problem, and had the utmost respect for our home through the process. The clean job site was noted, as was their resourcefulness. Total pros, I’d recommend them for any plumbing needs.

    Leaking sink

    Call Grizzly when I discovered one of the pipes under our sink was leaking. Brad arrived within 15 mins and fixed it. Small job but it could have led to some big damage. Thanks

    Plumbing blockage

    Called in Grizzly plumbing to fix a blockage in my basement bathroom. Despite a busy day they managed to make time to come and arrived exactly when they said they would. Brad and Calvin spent a few hours troubleshooting what turned out to not be a straightforward problem. They were professional, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. In the end they discovered a larger problem created when the bathroom was installed incorrectly by the previous owner. They removed the blockage and advised what will need to be done for a more permanent solution in the future. I will definitely be calling Grizzly back in the future when we are ready to begin the more complicated plumbing work that we will need to complete to correct the problem down the road. I would highly recommend Grizzly to anyone in need of plumbing or heating services.

    Shower faucet replacement

    I can't say enough good things about Grizzly. They accommodated our schedule, had straightforward reasonable pricing, their work was flawless and they were friendly, trustworthy guys. Our shower tap had a steady stream leaking from it. My wife had seen a recommendation for Grizzly on a Toronto Beaches Facebook Group so I gave them a call. Brad came over that same day and capped off the shower to stop the leak because the fixture needed to be replaced and we wanted a day or two to shop for one. He then came back with a colleague to do the repair. They were both incredibly nice guys. I'm a skeptical person by nature and would not normally trust strangers in my house... but I would have felt completely comfortable leaving them alone in the house and running out. They cleaned everything up afterward and there were no surprise costs like I've experienced with a couple other plumbing companies in the past. I'll never use another plumber and can't recommend them enough.

    Winter emergency heroes!

    Toronto's recent deep freeze resulted in frozen pipes for many homes, including a first time occurrence in a second floor sunroom at the back of our house. The situation was all the more dire to us as we received the news while away overseas and learned that a main gas valve had also cracked and was leaking. Fortunately, our house keeper contacted a wonderful neighbour and the call went out to Grizzly Plumbing and Heating. Kudos to Calvin and Brad, not only did they respond with ultimate professionalism and efficiency, they took time to put our minds at ease. They drained the heating and plumbing systems, removed our old cracked rads, orchestrated a temporary fix and had our house warm and back in operational order for our return home the following day.
