We engaged Chromatist to paint our 100 year old home in mid-town Toronto this spring. There were a number of issues that made this job a little unique. We had just gotten our knob-and-tube wiring replaced so there were a lot of holes that had been recently roughly plastered over. Also, there was a large hole in the lathe-and-plaster ceiling of our dining room from a plumbing leak. Finally, our hallway was finished with faux painting that simulated marble and brick with some trompe-l'oele of leaves in a vase that we wished to preserve rather than paint over. Shayan and his team were a pleasure to work with and did a great job on this challenging project. Every day the painters were very considerate and minimized disruption such that we were able to continue to work from home during the whole process. We especially appreciate the work on the faux painting in the hall, where Shayan had someone come in to analyze color matches and then hand painted and blended the colors so as to seamlessly hide the cracks and plaster that was there before. It looks better now than it did when we bought our house (a long time ago!). Thanks Shayan and team. We are definitely interested in working with you again.

Shayan and his team were awesome! Totally professional, trustworthy and got our job done very quickly ! They worked around our family of 5 while painting our whole house. They also worked well around the other tradespeople we had coming and going. Most importantly, the painting looked fantastic. I highly recommend Chromatist painters!

Everything was easy, efficient, and very well done. Shayan did a beautiful job painting our dining room walls and ceiling, including a medallion above the chandelier. Shayan was fantastic from the get to. He made very useful suggestions re colour and sheen and took great care in protecting the wainscotting (that was not being painted), inspecting his work afterwards, cleaning up, and generally just offering useful tips. We've found our new painting company for future projects. I highly recommend Chromatist.

Shayan and his team did a great job finishing the painting project we started ourselves. They came and dealt with the mess we left and were super helpful in accommodating the trouble. I normally don't like dealing with contractors, except for those few who truly understand the value of customer service. And Shayan and his team are the best! On time. On budget. Excellent job. Friendly. And Shayan knows that superior customer service is the key to happy customers. I highly recommend Shayan and Chromatist for any painting needs, you will be so happy you did.

Shayan and the team at Chromatist were exceptional, a very smooth experience working with them. They came on site for the quote, gave us a reasonable price and showed their previous work. Once we agreed, they came and completed the job within the agreed timeframe. The paint job was brilliant, great attention to detail and they're very customer service friendly. This is the 5th time I am hiring Chromatist, this time for my home office and touchups around the unit. Always, fast, effected and high quality service.

Hired Shayan for the second time. He came in and gave us a really good deal that made sense to us not to get a second quote. He did the painting right on time and within budget and even did a lot of touch-ups for his previous work from four years ago that was really banged up by our dog and kids. he also fixed a peice of drywall in our laundry room even though it was not in his scope of work. our place was left clean and furniture was put back with my wifes help and Shayan's painters. Thank you for good work. we are happy to give you a review and refer you to our family like we did in the past.

Chromatist did an excellent job - the workmanship is incredible and we're so happy with the finished job! Ali was very pleasant to work with all the way through, and was extremely professional to deal with. The attention to detail was simply amazing - Chromatist noticed issues we didn't even see, and promptly corrected them before painting. Not only was the workmanship amazing - they were very conscious of our space, taking great care of our home and keeping everything clean. It truly delighed us to see how organized the crew was and gave us trust right from the get go that the finished work would exceed our expectations. Thank you so much!
