I called Captain Handy to get an estimate on my kitchen & bathroom tile & grout. Alex called me and after getting some details during the visit, he emailed me with the quote. He also explained to me over the phone how I can save money. Alex guaranteed our satisfaction.

This company did an amazing job in our bathroom. Very professional, neat, clean, tidy. They gave great advice and the cost was absolutely fair. The job was small, just to renew tile, but even it was small we got great quality service.

We hired Alex to do our bathroom. This company embodies professionalism, timeliness and honesty. Everything about Alex told us, worked out exactly as he said. The bathroom came out looking stunning. They did it in an extremely neat manner, on budget and on time. I can recommend their services to everyone!

Captain Handy did an awesome job of installing our hardwood throughout are the main floor. The finished look is very lovely. Thanks to Alex and Muki for getting it done and addressing any concerns promptly. We are very satisfied with the service provided.

Our new floor is amazing. I was nervous in the beginning because we have some issues with the previous contractor for another room whom I found at Kijiji, but Alex explained to me the process, replied to all questions which I rised and I feel more comfortable. We found Captain Handy online at youtube and took a chance! Right from the start, Alex was reliable to communicate with us during the appointment and meet his promises. We fwd him our deck design and found ways to make it more affordable. His team was responsive to changes we made along the way, always listen to us and was very consultative. They had great ideas to make the finished product spectacular right down to all the finishing touches. We love the deck we received!

To start, the estimated quote was thorough and very reasonable in my opinion! Alex was patient, he listened to all my ideas and presented a wide range of options to meet my vision. We deal and I am happy with that I got!

It started with the written quote... No taxes applied, not signed, no indication of the product for the handrail, and with an extra charge for disposal that wasn't included in the verbal quote. A reasonable addition... I could live with it. The first day of work (a Friday) started late and ended early and left a pile of soil and stones in my driveway... including granite blocks and landscaping stones that I had asked be set aside - mixed in with the soil, almost on the public side walk. And you know what happens to valuable items (granite blocks and landscaping stones) left out like that. I (and here let me tell you I am a senior) dragged them back to beside the house. Then the work went into full swing on Monday. They cut an extended jog out of my concrete driveway without asking ('to make it straight') even though the wall they took down was straight... They did work hard. Rushed at 'completion'. Left a messy hole and gap between steps. Scored the brand new railing and left adhesive squeezed out from between some of the blocks. And they left plants (they had uprooted) as well as blocks from which they had cut shrubs... I would not recommend this company for retaining wall work.

What to say... We had a great experience with Captain Handy. The guys worked very fast and it was a job well done. I am pleased with their service and their performance! I wish you more clients.
