Firstly, Captain Handy did an AMAZING job & my new patio looks FABULOUS! They were my top choice after obtaining 4 estimates from 3 other companies. They were the only business that quickly submitted a detailed work plan in writing. They provided samples as well as expert advice on the layout. The team worked hard & the project was completed in a few days followed by a great clean-up. They were responsive to my calls & requests .The Project Manager came in the rain in order to inspect the site for proper drainage and even returned to complete some minor adjustments..I highly recommend Captain Handy & will hire them again.

Captain Handy was great! Their team was very professional throughout the entire project. They were flexible when we decided to make little changes to the project and always helpful with recommending the right plants and materials to use. I can't say enough about the team who was at our home working. Everyone was on time, polite and hard working. I am a believer that you get what you pay for.... Captain Handy might not be the least expensive company....but there's a reason for it. Their work is top notch far exceeded my expectations. We hope to use them again for future projects.

In summer 2023 we had a new fence and retaining wall built and we also regraded our backyard to allow for more usable play space for our kids. Captain Handy was quick to produce a quote less than others for this complex project and did the work in the time anticipated. They also did come out to take care of some problems in the retaining wall, which was great.

We recently replaced an 8' fence. Captain Handy was referred by a neighbour. We are extremely impressed by the quality, craftmanship and manner that the work was completed. The crew were punctual, hard working and meticulous. Every joint and cut is perfect with no gaps. The job was completed on budget ahead of schedule. I would strongly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Alex and his team tore down a two car garage, added a retaining wall, a new fence, grass and 9 ft privacy trees. This was a BIG job and they did it in record time. The entire team was kind, respectful and hardworking. I would highly recommend working with Alex and Captain Handy.

I don't post a lot of reviews. But Captain Handy did a great job building a new pool. What really stood out was their organization and communication. Responsive from the very start, Captain Handy professionally managed each step of the process: inspection, quoting, building and billing. The other landscape companies gave higher prices. I will certainly call them again if needed.

The owner showed up exactly at the scheduled time, looked at the project I requested, analyzed the situation in detail and gave me an exact quote same day. We scheduled a day for his workers to show up and that day at the exact time he scheduled, three very kind and hardworking gentlemen got to work. I needed a patio and new deck, ended up with an excellent work. As you can tell by my review, I am extremely impressed by this company. The price of the work was very fair. Needless to say, we will call them again for any future garden projects and will strongly recommend them to our friends.

We interviewed a few companies before we selected Captain Handy - main reason were very high reviews as well as professionalism of our main contact, Alex. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience - Alex always met timelines he committed to (from quote turn around, to all the steps throughout the project). He has incredible attention to detail, is very responsive and professional all the way. His crew were amazing - took pride in their work, professional, friendly, on time and clean. No job always goes pitch perfect, which is where the true colors of a contractor show: Alex was quick and thorough to manage through any challenges throughout the project to ensure they were satisfactorily resolved. Alex and his crew get two thumbs up ... and look forward to future projects with them.

They fixed a messed up job from another company. Very pleased with the service and kept me informed on when workers would show up. Alex was reliable and trustworthy and I would recommend this company because of him.

These guys are fantastic! I was reluctant to have a major remodel done on my pool but finally took a chance. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were always on time, kept me fully informed, supportive and resolved any issues in a heart beat! They are the best! And my contact guy, Alex, is number one! He is just terrific! This was one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had!
