    Refrigeration repair

    Our refrigerator was not cooling properly so we contacted Gold Star on a Sunday morning (after reading other excellent reviews on Homestars) and received an immediate response with an appointment on Sunday morning. Maor very quickly identified our problem as ice build up and told us that defrosting our fridge for 24 hours would fix the issue. He kindly explained everything as he went along including what to watch for to prevent any future ice build up. His consultation fee was very reasonable and we were very impressed with his work ethic and his straight forward, professional yet personal approach, putting the customer first. He told us to call him with any questions day or night and he is happy to help. We highly recommend Gold Star and will certainly call them again for any future appliance repairs!

    Honest, Fair & Fast

    Mayor was great! He set up a time to diagnose my appliance within a few hours. He was very transparent with cost and what parts needed to be ordered. He didn't charge us for the initial appointment and put us at ease that we were not being taken for a ride. Our oven was fixed within 48 hours of being diagnosed. Took his card because we will definitely be calling him again.

    Fridge repair

    Very thorough, fair and came to see us on boxing day before having 12 people for dinner. That was not expected but so appreciated!!!

    Appliance repair

    Maor is extremely knowledgeable, considerate, and communicates well. He installed a dishwasher and range hood for us and fixed an oven door. He took the time to make sure everything was working properly before he left.

    Fridge repair

    Washing machine repair

    This is an overdue praise for the outstanding work Mayor, from Gold Star Appliance Repair Inc., did on our family's 12 year old LG washing machine. He found the problem with the washing machine instantly and repaired it just as fast. I mentioned "overdue praise", because in the past couple of years Mayor repaired our dishwasher and oven with the same professionalism and speed. He's honest and reliable. I know my appliance problems will be solved with Mayor on the job. Ric

    Fixed icemaker in fridge and installed new range vent

    Fast and efficient. Definitely would recommend. My only complaint is that they’re a tad expensive, but that’s what you pay for quality work.

    Washer repair

    We had a problem with washer machine, water didn't drain. Maor checked the washer and explained step by step what might be a reason and fixed the problem. Great service, very satisfied!

    Washer repair

    Maor was great. He was punctual, trustworthy and knowledgeable. He was able to identify and fix the issue with our washer. He has helped us previously with our dishwasher installation which is why we didn’t hesitate to contact him again to help us when our washer stopped working, thanks Maor!
