I called homestar and they sent me a repair men named sam he was so professional he assest the situation and then told me he would try and fix it .

Sam came on time and did a wonderful job repairing my fridge. The fridge is blowing cool air now and working like new. I highly recommend him. Thank you Sam.

Sam came late. But did a good job. Fixed our fridge. We recommend him to anyone. He was professional in his job. I will surely recommend him to my family and friends.

Sam came at 9:30pm and had it fixed by 10:30pm. He was very honest and reasonable, would definitely recommend to friends and family, I would use him again. Great job Sam!!

Our dryer had been failing to effectively dry clothes for ages! Sam solved the problem quickly and efficiently. He called me immediately and came by the next day when he said he would. I would highly recommend him for anyone with a similar issue.

My repair cost me a lot more than what I would have paid to repair. I would have opted to replace the machine had I known it was going to cost me over $400 but Sam was not upfront and honest. I called Fixity to inquire about how much it would cost to have my washer looked at. I received a text message indicating there would be a $50 service fee to diagnose the problem and identify how much the repair would cost. The repair would be $180 for labour plus $50-$100 if parts are needed. Sam was supposed to come between 6-9 pm. I texted at 8:30 since he had not showed up yet and he said he was running late so will be coming between 9 and 10. Finally he showed up at 9:40. Had a look at the washer for 5 minutes and said it was probably the signal between to the board but could not tell me how much it would cost to fix it unless I paid him the $180 + HST labour fee. He said he will try to fix without any parts but the parts could be from $50 to $100. When I told him that is not what the message said, he said, it is not up to him and he is just a technician. He said his name was Sami and Sam was the person he worked for which I know wasn't true because I recognized his voice from the our phone call. At this time I needed the washer fixed so asked him to go ahead. He made me pay for the labour up front and then opened the machine. Then he told me he needed two parts which would cost $200 plus tax. When I asked how much each part was it came up to $160 but he said he will need to charge me another $35 because he doesn’t have the part and will have to come back. At this point I had already paid him $203 for labour so agreed to get the parts. When I didn’t hear back from him after a few days I finally called to follow up and he made an appointment for Sunday between 10 and 1 pm. 2:30 pm and he still did not show up and no message. I texted him and he replied that he was double booked so he will come between 8 and 9. 9 o’clock came and still no show. Finally he messaged to say he couldn’t come and will be coming the next day. Meanwhile I had my tenant waiting for him all day. Long story short he finally showed up the next day, fixed the machine and I paid him another $226. I asked him to give me a receipt since I needed it for tax and he said he had ran out of receipts and would send me one the next day. It has been two weeks and still don’t have my receipt even though I have texted him again to ask for it and paid HST for the service.

Sam is professional and good to deal with the price is right and left the area clean. Thank you for repairing my washing machine. I’m very happy .He waited for the cycle to finished and made sure it works perfect
