All interactions with the Wall Doctor from the drywaller to the support staff, were excellent. After a new roof install, a chunk of plaster & lathe fell down from our ceiling. I looked at multiple companies, but ultimately went with the Wall Doctor and I'm glad I did. The work was done quickly and with minimal disruption to our tenants. A very professional and reliable company to work with. I highly recommend!

Booked via email, arrived on time, patched and sanded in 3-4 hours (4 big holes). Also friendly and courteous. Only invoiced after ensured we were satisfied. 100% satisfied!

Daniel and team have surpassed expectations once again! The first time Daniel did some work for me, it was a small job (patched a hole in wall). The quality was top notch, communication was excellent and he was able to do the work on time and budget. When it came to my most recent need, it was a much larger renovation. Scope was to remove a non-load bearing wall, re-route some utilities, replace new ceiling in living room/dining room, add potlights, carpentry and a number of drywall fixes for our kitchen and a bedroom. I turned to Daniel after remembering my first experience and Im so happy I did. Our house looks so incredible; we are so impressed by the quality of work from Daniel and his team. In addition, our timelines (which were very tight) were met and costs were very clear from initial quote and as we went along when we found some surprises. Do not hesitate to use Daniel and his company! Huge thanks to the whole team who worked on our project.

This was for water damage to my kitchen ceiling resulting in a large crack, and water dripping into the kitchen. We have a 50 year old bungalow. A new roof had been put in, and then we turned to the kitchen. It turned out that we had a "lathe and plaster" ceiling made prior to the time when they installed drywall. I first got a quote from one of Wall Doctor's competitors (also highly rated by HomeStars). They wanted $3000 to replace the entire ceiling, even though only one small area was damaged. I was told this was because of the risk in repairing a lathe and plaster ceiling, making it safer and necessary to take down the whole ceiling. I was relieved to get a quote from Daniel of Wall Doctor. He stated that taking down the whole ceiling was not needed, and quoted 2/3 the price that the previous contractor estimated. Wall Doctor did a good job. They were polite and clean. About a month after the job was completed, I noticed a small area where the new paint was peeling off the primer. I contacted Wall Doctor. They came back and fixed the problem free of charge. Very satisfied.

This is our second time using The wall doctor and we are again leaving as a happy client. Always responsive and work is always great. Thank you again!

I was looking for someone to do some small repairs on my plaster ceiling and around my doors on a 1950s bungalow. I researched and found The Wall Doctor. After reading all of the wonderful reviews I hired them to complete the job. Best decision I made. Daniel and Babar came and inspected what needed to be done. Babar was here every day right at 8 am as he said he would. He did an amazing repair job on the ceiling and repainted. You would never know there had been a huge crack in several places. Excellent work, punctual, easy to deal with and great customer service. Penelope in the office was easy to deal with and always responded to my inquiries. I would highly recommend Daniel and his team for any job and will definitely have them back for future jobs.

I met with three different contractors before I chose Daniel. I hired Daniel and his crew to fix a number of drywall disasters my general contractor left me with after a massive renovation. The issues were with very intricate items; like mud-in lights, mud-in receptacles, mud-in switches and drywall reveals. This work involved cutting into every wall in the home, as well as cutting down entire sections of my ceilings. Not only did Daniel meticulously plan and manage the project, but he executed flawlessly - and I'm very picky person with an eye for detail. I have a number of properties and have been dealing with a lot of contractors and Daniel and his team are a very big breath of fresh air. They started when they said they would, showed up each and every day on time and even finished in the timeframe Daniel estimated. They also went to extreme lengths to keep the dust extremely minimal (considering the work). These guys are rare, especially these days. I highly recommend them.

I contacted a couple companies for quotes to repair the stain on my swirl plaster ceiling, and the Wall Doctor had the best price. I knew they were a good company from all the positive reviews, so I asked them to book me in as soon as they were able. The office assistant Penelope was wonderful, always very quick to respond as we emailed back and forth to confirm a final date for the repairs. Daniel and Greg arrived right on time, and were both so friendly! I didn't think they would be able to plaster and paint in the same day, so I hadn't moved everything out of the room. They moved everything, put down drop sheets, and even let me know that it was a smaller job than they anticipated from the photos, so they advised that the price would be lower than the original quote. Wow! That shows you what an honest company this is - that they would lower the agreed upon price because the size of the job wasn't as big as they thought. They removed the damaged plaster, got rid of the stain, replastered the area and painted the ceiling, then cleaned up and were gone within 7 hours. I will definitely use this company again for any future ceiling or wall repairs. Thanks Daniel and Greg!

The swirled plaster ceiling in my 1925 house had a hairline crack from the humidity this summer. Suddenly the crack was huge and clearly threatening to break off. Despite the snow-blocked side city street, Daniel came within 2 days, gave me a quote, and a week later his team was there to replace the plaster crack with drywall, and mold new plaster to match the rest of the ceiling.( see photos) Every one of the team was respectful of my home, masking, and kept the area as clean as possible. I am immensely grateful and highly recommend the Wall Doctor.

Daniel and his crew did an exceptional job with our basement. This was my first time doing framing and drywall installation, so the finish was far from perfect. Lots of uneven cuts, gaps in the drywall etc. The Wall Doctor staff came in and handled everything likes pros. The walls now look perfect after completing the mudding, taping, sanding and priming. They came into work on time everyday, were respectful of the space (noise, cleanliness), and completed everything we asked for and some. Highly recommend and the price was reasonable too as it's a big, difficult job to do on your own.
