I recently had epoxy flooring installed, and while the flooring itself looks fantastic, Im disappointed with the additional service that I paid $850 for. I had specifically asked for additional concrete grinding to ensure the floor would be perfectly smooth and even. Unfortunately, this part of the job was poorly executed, leaving the floor uneven, which now requires further work to fix. I expected a professional finish, especially after agreeing to pay extra for this service, but instead, Im left with additional hassle and costs to get the job completed properly. While the epoxy itself looks great, the lack of attention to detail with the additional service leaves me questioning the overall value of the work. I would caution anyone considering additional services to insist on clear guarantees upfront regarding the quality theyll receive for the extra cost. If you quote an additional job, please ensure it covers the full scope of work without later excuses about how the grinding 'wasted' a $2K blade. I paid $850 specifically for a smooth, flat finish and emphasized that multiple times, yet it was not delivered. Extremely disappointed with this part of the job.Answer from pro:
Hi Csaba. When you hired someone to pour your concrete they did a horrible job as the pictures we documented for you and put in your invoice. This has nothing to do with us nor can we be responsible for another contractors work. Thats just unfair to me and to my team who worked hard for you to improve it as best as possible as per our agreement. As stated by your text messages you sought a quote from concrete firms to repair the concrete and make it perfect and it was too expensive. We told you we could make it smoother and improve the look and we showed you this during the job. It was improved and again this was documented to you and explained to you personally. However we could only improve the look. Due to the negligence of your contractor we could not make this floor perfect, only improve it. Replacement blades for a grinding machine are super expensive. This is why we quoted you extra to make the floor smooth. The extra labour was given to you for minimal cost while the team spent the entire day grinding that floor. Somebody has to pay for the blades that were used to smooth out your contractors work. My company will not absorb these costs for you free, I'm sorry. I'm sorry you feel disappointed but given how professional we acted for you, we want to remind you that we did not pour your concrete. We cannot be responsible for another contractors work. This is just unfair. Cheers!

I needed the interior and exterior of my house painted and I needed it done as soon as possible. I called Clear Cut Coatings and they were able to start the very next day. What I really like about this company: Prompt service, friendly employees, clean and great result at the end of the job. I was happy with the work, however a recommendation, to either visit the job in person or ask more questions over the phone to provide a more precise quote to the customer, we paid an additional $300 due to extra sanding of cabinets (which was required due to previous homeowners smoking habits) this left the experience short of my 10/10. I knew it was going to be an extra charge but $300 extra seems excessive since the work was completed in 1 day and between 8-5pm, it would of been nice if there was a better compromise on the additional cost.Answer from pro:

We worked with this epoxy floor contractor, and we have some feedback that needs to be considered carefully. Firstly, I must say that their pricing was quite good. They offered reasonable rates compared to competitors, and that was a positive aspect. However, regarding the quality of their work, unfortunately, we cannot give a positive review. After the project was completed, we realized that the quality of the epoxy coating was far from our expectations. It was uneven and not done ideally. Additionally, after finishing the job, the contractors covered the entire garden with epoxy, causing damage to the grass. Moreover, they did not pay attention to cleaning up after themselves, which was quite frustrating. Based on this experience, I do not recommend using this contractor for epoxy flooring projects or similar work. It's advisable to look for contractors with better experience and reasonable work quality.Answer from pro:
