Needed much repair on my old wooden garage. Knowledgeable repair with cedar was accomplished. Cedar was also used on the outside ( the wall that faced my garden ) with astonishing results. Covering this wall with cedar planks created the illusion of a cabin in the woods. The workmanship was excellent and the workspace was tidy and organized. I would recommend this company for cedar work.

Just Cedar did two large-scale carpentry jobs for us last summer - one is a front lawn enclosure, and the other is a full 350sf, 4th floor rooftop deck on top of our house. In short, he is the best professional contractor I have worked with, and the quality of his carpentry work is stellar. Aviram, the owner, is absolutely fantastic in every aspect. First and foremost, the quality of his work is phenomenal - he is an absolute professional, he does not compromise on material grade and quantity, he is diligent and extremely schedule-committed, and most importantly, in both projects he did for us, the outcome was absolutely gorgeous, and still looks brand new two years later. To give a sense of how impressive the end product is, our down the street neighbours were not even planning on building a front lawn enclosure, but after seeing Aviram's work decided to hire him to build the same one for them this summer. In addition to his professionalism and expertise, Aviram is uncompromising on safety, and did a remarkable job scoping out the various risks associated with building rooftop deck on the roof of a three story home, which required hoisting materials using a pully. Aviram went above and beyond what regulations demand in order to guarantee not just the personal safety of his assistant and himself, but also to take extreme care in handling material logistics in ways that guaranteed the prevention of any damage to neighbouring houses (ours is an attached townhouse), to vegetation, and to other surrounding physical elements. He basically left the entire work space even better looking than it was before. Beyond all of the above, Aviram is an absolute pleasure to work with - he was refreshingly transparent about every aspect of his decision making, he has a great sense of when to be proactive about involving clients in choices that bear on how they will end up using the final product, and he is acutely aware of material and labour costs, and made sure to consult with us and clearly present the pros and cons of relevant alternatives when such decisions were required. Getting Just Cedar to do a job for us was without exaggeration a privilege, and I recommend them in the strongest terms.

The look of the premium cedar wood cannot be underestimated and the quality of workmanship really brought out the natural beauty of the wood.
