Katerina from Assured Basements was fantastic at creating designs based on the idea of what we wanted and within the constraints of the space available. She had great suggestions, was attentive to our needs and designed a kitchen that has proven to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Measurements were accurate and the resulting cabinetry is of high quality. Overall I'm thrilled with the service provided and results!

I do get what I pay for some extra I putting myself my family and friends like it.

Overall the team did an excellent job. Mike was a great contact on the selling front, and Ryan and Andrej were the primary contacts on the execution side. Andrej really held the project together and kept things moving along well despite some delays in getting the permit from the city during Covid. The final product is excellent. Getting there had some frustrating times. There were many requests for change orders along the way, always initially very costly based on their recommended approach, but after pushing back in the added cost an alternate always seemed possible at a much lower price. It would have been received better if the team presented all these options up front so we could choose rather than starting with the highest priced option and then finding the more tolerable solution after we said no. At one point it became obvious that the team had forgot to order the flooring, and so we were asked to choose something else or accept a 4 week project delay. I was surprised that initially they expected us to pay the full upgrade price of the alternate flooring despite the error on their end. Again after pushing back they split the cost with us, but I still don’t believe we should have had to absorb any of this extra due to the mistake in ordering. We weren’t left with much choice if we wanted to keep the project on time. The team is extremely responsive and friendly and we get to a good place in the end. They use an excellent program called BuilderTrend as a portal for all the selections, invoicing, schedule, and for communication. It made following along with what was happening easy. I would likely use the team again but would have allocated more contingency to cover the change orders that occurred throughout.

The entire team at Assured Basements did an excellent job with finishing my basement. They are attentive, transparent and responsive and helped navigate the basement finishing process with ease. Special shout out to Jake, Abdul and Taren for their attention to detail. Thank you to Eric for his suggestion about enhancing the electrical add ons to the basement. And thanks to Taren for his neat and tidy work on trims and baseboards.

I've been in the trades for close to 20 years now, and a journeyman for the last 13. I ended up using assured basement builders to finish off my basement. As a tradesman, naturally it was hard for me to allow myself to hire someone to come in, but I really just wanted to get it done quickly. Spare time is hard to come by, and as one person, a project involving so many different tasks/trades can really take a long time. Plus, a lot of the finishing work like taping and mudding, or setting tiles, I would prefer to have a pro do, rather than risk botching it up myself. I was really impressed with the fact that they actually finished the project before their promised deadline. In the trades world this almost never happens. I was expecting it to take about 30% longer than budgeted for time, and cost 30% more in the end, like most reno's tend to do. Plus, The workmanship was quite immaculate, and I'm happy with the way everything looks. The plumber Mike and election Eric roughed in behind the drywall looked good as well and care was taken with it, which is important to me. Their sub trades were always happy, and positive when they showed up to work as well. I believe played a large role in their attention to the details. I would definitely recommend these guys. They're a pretty good crew. I would use them again.

Our basement was half finished by a guy we hired. He literally bailed 3 weeks after he started the job. Assured basement builders came and quoted the job, and started the project withing 2 weeks from when the contract was signed. Since we explained we were on a very tight deadline. They finished the basement in 4 weeks which is very impressive. You get what you pay for, tough lesson learned for us. Assured Basement saved us, no other way to describe it. Great Company to deal with. it’s to bad we moved away from toronto cause we need our basement done again in Ottawa.

As far as basement developers go, Assured Basements has to be one of the best in the industry. They took care of all the design and even took some of our ideas and put their touch on them and it ended up better than we imagined. We wanted a very specific custom bar and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Their designer had the idea to form the pot lights around the pool table, which looks really cool. All of the finishing is amazing, and the detail and quality control seemed to be a big focus for the team. We couldn’t be happier with how our basement turned out! Thank you Assured Basements.

We are extremely satisfied with our basement renovation. Assured Basements handled everything in a professional manner from start to finish. Their workers were friendly, courteous and the finished project was sensational.

I have a lot of experience dealing with the trades as I am also a tradesmen. The job is always usually behind schedule, the price always ends up being higher than quoted and I can always find problems in the end (big or small). None of these points describes this company when we hired this Company and They have made the process very simple. They book all the trades on a calendar prebooked so this way before the job even started everyone was booked. The timelines were all met as the trades people had to finish their individual tasks before the next trade came in. On time almost to the day, excellent communication, and the price came in identical to what I was quoted. Icing on the cake, zero problems at all. Impressed with how well this company operates. Andrej the project manager knows what hes doing and we are super thankful to the rest of the team.

I ended up getting tasked to help my father find someone to finish the basement in his rental property. We almost hired a gentleman off Kijiji but wow are we glad we didn't. After no returned phone calls for several days, and a bunch of scheduling issues, price changes from other contractors. W actually received a flyer in the mail and saw Assured Basements. After meeting with the sales manager we e decided to go through Assured Basements and it was honestly the best decision ever. They did a superb job! The best part is my dad couldn't find one thing wrong with the finishing so I gained some brownie points in the process. Thank you Ryan, Andrej, Ashley and the rest of the Assured Team.
