    Install or Replace Exterior Doors
    We purchased a new Composite front entry door with composite frame, sidelights and a triple latch system. We also purchased a new rear sliding door. We shopped around and their price was indeed the lowest by several hundred dollars. Unfortunately, the door had to be replaced 3 times due to very evident defects in the factory finish. In the end, the door frame wasn't installed square to the house so the door doesn't hang square in the frame. it looks good if you don't look at the obvious uneven spacing between the door and frame. They couldn't fix it, so as compensation, the boss offered me a discount on any new work I need. I do need windows, but why would I buy more product from them after that. I gave them three stars because they tried to remedy the screw-ups and the door does look good if you don't pay close attention to details.

    Love our new exterior doors

    My experience with Consumer Direct was excellent. We needed a new exterior laundry room door and another for the garage. We went into the showroom with no clear idea of what we wanted, but got some great advice right off the bat (which we ended up following to a T). During the consultation/purchase phase, everything was straightforward: we had clear info, costs, timelines. Several weeks later they called when the doors were delivered - we were lucky to get an install the next day (before the polar vortex hit) - and the installers were neat and efficient. Everything happened exactly as planned. The doors are gorgeous and no more cold drafts (our previous door and install from a different company weren't good, you get what you pay for)! Highly recommend, and will be back when we're ready to replace our front door.

    Windows replacement

    I am satisfied from the started quotation to completion. I had new windows installed and when I returned home from work, I saw the new windows and I am very pleased with them.

    Picture Window Project

    The team came and provided a great quote, custom built the window and installed it within 2 months. The installation was seamless - the old window was out and the new one installed within 2 hours. They even installed trim on the interior! They were clean, friendly, and experienced. I will definitely use them again!

    Window Replacement

    Windows and Siding

    I recently had my windows and siding done. The team was kind, considerate, thoughtful, detailed and fast. all the windows (4) large living room window (1) and patio door were removed and replaced in one day. Siding took 2 days due to weather. A small hiccup on the colour, however Colin was amazing and fixed the problem and made it right. The team is clean, and considerate. I am really pleased with the results as my house from the exterior looks brand new. A huge shout to Colin, he was fantastic and really looked after so many things that put my mind at ease, he is awesome!! I would recommend this team. The do payment installments and the final balance is not due until you are happy with the work. I would highly recommend them!!

    Basement window replacement

    I needed to replace 3 basement windows that were mid-80s originals. Consumers Direct was better priced than my next best quote, responsive to my questions/concerns and delivered when promised. The installers were friendly, prompt and did a good job - the windows look great and they cleaned up well.

    Door installation

    Needed a new exterior door. Got great advice and service. No pressure to buy. Good a fairly good deal from a reputable company. Came on time to install the door. Completed it in 3-4 hours which was what I was told. They showed me issues with previous door as it was not closing properly. New door looks great, and noticed no draft as it was insulated with spray foam.
