    Excellent Service

    We needed to get a garage door controller installed. Al was the first to respond to our request. He is very knowledgeable about the products, professional and prompt. I will highly recommed Al and his company.

    Replaced broken spring

    The service was great! Al came the following day at the agreed upon time and he got the job done quickly. Thanks for fixing our garage door!

    garage opener maintenance

    Our garage door opener was not working all the time. During our first phone call, I knew Al was very knowledgeable by the questions he asked. He came the next day to complete the service call and answered all questions. As a bonus, he showed us how to lubricate the garage door. We were impressed by the level of service.

    Highly Recommend - Great Service

    Al did a great job fixing a broken spring on my garage door opener. He was extremely prompt to respond to my request and his service was very knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and came with a fair and transparent price. I would certainly call him again for any garage door issues and would highly recommend.

    Garage motor/receiver repair, garage door lock, garage door handle

    Al arrived promptly, keeping me updated on his schedule. He came, troubleshooted why the transmitter wasnt working. He performed the lockout procedure, gained access to our garage which didnt have another door. Root cause was the receiver didnt receive signal properly. My original craftsman unit lasted 24 years! Also the manual door release lock got tangled with the manual handle. He proposed different fix options and I even saved some money because he replaced the motor drive / receiver and left the functioning chain drive and frame. He installed the best brand Chamberlain, plus the manual release lock and an exterior door handle for easy manual open and close. Payment was also easy. Strongly recommend Al for your garage door opener repair

    Garage Door Opener Repair

    Penguin Garage Doors Inc. sets a high standard of service, professionalism and integrity. After being advised by another company that I needed a replacement for my garage door opener, we found Penguin. I spoke to Al on Wednesday and he showed up at my door on Thursday. Al examined my garage door opener and informed me that I didnt need a new one. He explained the cause of the malfunction and proceeded to make the necessary adjustments. My old garage door opener works like a charm. Thanks Al!

    Garage Door Repair

    We needed help with the garage door wheel that disconnected from the track. It was a Very quick response. He was very Nice and respectful and he did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!

    Garage door replacement

    20+ year old garage door malfunctioned and needed repair or replacement. Al responded to my Homestars job request immediately and arranged to personally come and provide quotation within a day. Al explained the issue with our door, provided us with all the options with a new garage door and provided very transparent pricing as well as his honest recommendations. For example Al said our garage door opener is still in good shape and doesnt need replacement. Penguins pricing is better than other quotes we received; we also chose to work with Penguin because its a local small business where were dealing directly with the owner. On installation day, Al and his team were very professional and efficient; brand new door was installed by lunch time. The entire process took about one week. We are very happy with the final result and would work with Penguin again.

    Garage door repair

    Garage door had been pushed in by car. Frame was pulled away from inside of garage. Easy to fix, no problems. Ensured we were happy with work when complete, was friendly, & offered reasonable price. Responded quickly and completed work the same day. Would recommend for work in the future.
