Called a few companies to review and quote for sealing three leaky walls under basement windows. Mud Monkeys gave a great quote and fit us in their schedule. Their crew came out and did a great job, not to mention they kept the backyard clean even after moving all that dirt. Great communications, great company, great bunch of guys!

We are extremely pleased in working with MudMunkeys for our basement underpin. They showed a high degree of professionalism and respect. Constant communication, always available via phone/text to answer questions and set expectations. They are a premium service and worth every penny. Their schedule was dead-on. If you want a pro job done in 6 weeks, no question they'd be my go to. The entire crew from the owner down to the youngest employee were exemplary. Their recommended trades also did a great job.

These guys were very professional. The owner Darby is very personable as were all his staff, courteous and methodical. The owner came by himself after everything was completed to make sure that I was completely satisfied and gave me a 20-year warranty. A good size company where it's small enough that you feel like a person and not a number.

Darby and his team dug out our basement and did interior waterproofing. He was very helpful from the beginning in explaining the whole process and recommending contractors for other tasks, such as engineers and plumbers, some of whom we went with. We also brought in contractors we found ourselves for other parts of the job (structural carpentry and HVAC) and Darby and team were excellent at coordinating with them. Darby was very patient in explaining all the steps required. All the members of his team were very friendly and we enjoyed their company throughout the job. I was impressed that they did everything by hand, and witnessed myself the precise digging they were able to do. In the end, we now have a dry, waterproof basement with good head room and a very smooth concrete floor.

We were very pleased with the work Mud Monkeys did to excavate, inspect and waterproof our house foundation that is almost 100 years old. Our concern was that there might be some unexpected surprises – each day the crew kept us up-to-date about what they found. Thankfully there were no major issues. From initial assessment to completion of the project, the whole process was fully explained. The crew was courteous, and efficient and the work was completed as promised - on time and on budget. We would recommend Mud Monkeys without reserve.

After getting a quote for $7500.00 I called Darby at Mud Monkeys for a quotation. Needless to say I was thrilled with his quotation. The workmen were efficient, maintained an organized work area and cleaned-up when they had completed the digging and waterproofing. I would highly recommend Mud Monkeys!! Nejla Botrie

We had Mud Monkeys install a weeping tile along our 100 year old foundation wall that had water running through it into our basement. The short version of this review: hire them now, they're great. We found out about the Mud Monkeys by way of recommendation from a friend. Nick and his crew were great at communicating, were always on time, polite, courteous and hard working. When they came out to quote the work, they inspected both inside and out and told us exactly what they thought the issue was and how they would remedy it. They sent a quote shortly after, and let us know when they could start. The day of the install, the crew were on time, introduced themselves, took their boots off to walk through the house (our house is a row house, and all access to the work was through the house), and laid down tarps before they started to work. Whenever we were curious, the crew would take the time to walk us through what they were doing, and why they were doing it. It is obvious that the crew take pride in their work. At the end of each day, they did a great job cleaning up the work site, as well as the path through our house. The work happened to span over a weekend, and as there was a hole in the ground next to my foundation, I got a little worried about whether I should be covering up the hole with plywood should it rain. I sent an email to the site super, not really expecting a prompt response on a weekend. Lo and behold, not 30 mins later Nick called me back to let me know that the way the left the work site and hole was done on purpose, and proceeded to tell me how the water would migrate and that covering up the hole would potentially have a negative impact on my and my neighbors property. It was great that he took the time to address my concerns promptly so I didn't lose any sleep over it. Lastly, the day that Mud Monkeys quoted the work, they noticed that there was a patch of floor in my furnace room where I had removed the concrete to do some plumbing work. They mentioned that they could patch it with some concrete. I said 'that would be great', thinking it was one of those items that would be forgotten as the complete scope of work was outside the house. When I was inspecting the basement wall during a rainstorm a few days later, I noticed that not only had they patched the floor, but that it had been sloped properly to the drain, and was finished very nicely for a patch job in a furnace room (much better than the existing floor). So to sum up my experience with Mud Monkeys - great at communicating, polite, clean, do what they say they are going to do, and do it well. We were very, very happy with their work and service!

My basement libarary was contaminated by water and mold. After I had the mold removed, Darby and crew took over for internal waterproofing. They came very quickly for an estimate, which they stuck to, dug out the remnant floor, added weeping tiles, did some sealing, and helped arrange for a sump pump to be installed. Mud Monkeys crew was courteous, efficient, and on time. Very satisfied, and no longer wondering who'll stop the rain.

Mud Monkeys care about their work. We have a difficult and tight building and they carefully hand dug and repaired my foundation then waterproof. They also recommended a good plumber for our sum pump and a mason to do above grade repair.
