    Outside waterproofing

    It's so nice to go downstairs to a DRY basement! We had to wait a while because so many people were taking advantage of the tax benefit, but it was worth it. Darby came by quickly to give us a thorough quote, which was exactly what the job cost, and included follow-up laying down gravel beside the house when it gets trampled down. I called on a Thursday evening for the follow-up and it was done by Friday at noon! Very polite, thorough, and friendly crew. Thanks to all of you!

    Basement Waterproofing - back wall

    From start to finish the experience with Darby and his team was excellent. They were prompt, professional and courteous. The workmanship was high quality and it was done on time and on budget. And they left the site cleaner than when they found it! I highly recommend them and would use them again.

    foundation waterproofing

    The only company that said: "No problem". As a single female, this was music to my ears. They arrived on time, cleaned up every day, were happy, polite, considerate, and trustworthy. And the basement is dry!!! Other companies can learn a great deal from them.

    Exterior waterproofing of front sides of house

    A few months after buying our house, we noticed water on our basement floor. This happened on a few different occasions, with more water showing up each time. We got tired of continuously "bailing" out our basement so we called a few waterproofing companies. The first place we called was Mud Monkeys, based on a review I read on Homestars. Darby called us back right away and despite the fact that it was late Sunday afternoon, he showed up at the house a few hours later. He was informative and totally straightforward about the work that needed to be done and gave us a couple of options on how to approach it. He dropped off a written quote the next day. We decided to go with them because as I said he was just very straightforward without any sales pitch. He showed up with his crew and completed the work on time. Not only were the guys fast and hardworking, they were extremely pleasant to deal with and also respectful of our neighbours. They cleaned up all materials, tools etc. after each day. Fantastic. As we said, impeccable work and attitude from Mud Monkeys!!

    Interior Basement Waterproofing

    We recently purchased a house close to downtown Toronto and were aware of a minor water issue when we purchased the house - after taking down walls and inspecting the issue it was bigger then we originally thought. We had a bunch of quotes from some pretty questionable folks... Mitch from Mudd Monkeys came by and immediately I knew that we would go with Darby and Mudd Monkeys - they were so knowledge and approachable. The jobs was done cleanly and professionally - the entire crew was polite and explained everything to me and my family through out the process. It amazed me how fast the works gets done; two part days start to finish. I never got to actually meet Darby but we spoke over the phone a few times; he even offered to walk me through the process if I wanted to do it myself! All in all a great experience - the dry wall is up and the basement is finished 6 day after Darby's crew completed the waterproofing. Excellent work - Highly recommended.

    Waterproofing basement

    Even though we had to wait six weeks for them to come because they are so busy, I cannot recommend Darby and his team highly enough. They were excellent. We could not believe how tidy they were and how quickly they were finished. And they were highly respectful of our neighbour's property when they had to dig on the north side. After they finished, our water problems in the basement disappeared.

    basement waterproofing

    I discovered a leak in my stone foundation basement and a friend recommended the Mud Monkeys. I called up for an estimate and Darby arrived the next day, assessed the problem and provided a written quote by that evening. They dug around the outside wall and sealed it up beautifully. The work site was left clean in the evenings and was pristine at the end of the job. Darby is a wonderful person who will go out of his way to solve your problem (including going above and beyond what I expected). I only have praise for him and his team.

    Foundation wall waterproofing

    Darby and his crew did an amazing job. Needed to excavate and waterproof an old brick foundation. Darby was always prompt in returning calls, his crews showed up on time and worked in a tight downtown backyard and did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend Mud Monkeys for your waterproofing needs.

    Thank you Kevin, its always a challenge sealing a foundation in Cabbagetown, but it's definitley a great feeling when you know you have successfully stopped the water. These homes were built in the 1800's and numerous homeowners have had to do work on the foundation to stop water leaks.     Interior Basement Waterproofing

    We are in a semi-detached that had water coming in from both the exterior and interior walls of our basement.We interviewed MANY companies. Various sources had us needing to re-drop our basement without a guarunteed result for the tune of $45,000. The costs we were being quoted were out of this world... and then came Mud Monkeys. Due to our unique situation, we chose to interior waterproof our basement upon their consultation. Not only did Darby provide the friendliest service, but also the best price. We intend to use Mud Monkeys to do our external waterproofing in the coming years, but can now use our basement as a comfortable living space in the meantime. Thanks Mud Monkeys!

Whenever a previous homeowner chooses to lower the floor without properly benching or underpinning you can have this problem. We can waterproof the exterior walls and not stop the problem, only an interior waterproof will work in this situation.     waterproof complete perimeter of house

    Darby and his team did a great job. We needed to completely waterproof the perimeter of our 80-year old bungalow. Darby explained in detail the work that they were going to do, and was able to start a day early. His team was punctual, and even worked during the weekend to stay ahead of schedule. Everyone on the team was courteous. They kept the site as clean as possible, and cleaned up and covered everything each night. They were always happy to answers our questions and explain details of the work as it progresses. They completed the work ahead of schedule. The only thing left is to fill in some spots along the house as the ground settles more, and they will do this soon as part of the job. We've had a few major rainfalls since the work was done, and the basement is dry!!! Thanks!
