Reply created 2 Feb 2011Thank you for the very nice review Jean. It was a pleasure working for you, we know you did your background checks before chosing to go ahead with us and we're happy you were satisfied with the job! Darby
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Thanks Tim, it was a pleasure working for you under the difficult circumstances (Tim lives on a high watertable in the Beaches, and it wasn't until the watertable was controlled that we could do our job properly. There are many streams and watertables in the Beaches and Riverdale area, that make doing the job properly difficult, if you don't know what you're doing) Again, thanks for choosing us to seal your basement. Darby
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Chris, we really appreciate your kind words. I believe you're right, I don't think we ever met. That's the beauty of having a foreman like Mitch that I have complete confidence in. I have many men who have worked for me for a number of years that I trust to be respectful and diligent when it comes to meeting with customers, and stopping water problems.
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Thank you for giving us the opportunity to come and do the work for you Tina, even though it took 6 weeks. We appreciate your patience. Thanks, Darby
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Jeremy we appreciate those kind words. You were extremely accomodating to work for and we were happy we were able to solve the problem with your stone foundation. Thanks again, Darby
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Thank you Kevin, its always a challenge sealing a foundation in Cabbagetown, but it's definitley a great feeling when you know you have successfully stopped the water. These homes were built in the 1800's and numerous homeowners have had to do work on the foundation to stop water leaks. Once you have exposed the wall from the outside and have located the problem area, you can be assured you will be able to solve the problem. Thanks again for choosing us. Darby
Reply created 11 Feb 2010Juliette, we genuinely appreciate your review. We were happy we were able to help you with your problem, which is very common amongst houses on the Danforth. Whenever a previous homeowner chooses to lower the floor without properly benching or underpinning you can have this problem. We can waterproof the exterior walls and not stop the problem, only an interior waterproof will work in this situation. We do look forward to waterproofing your exterior walls at a later date if you choose to restore them. Thanks again, Darby
