    Basement waterproofing

    We experienced some leaking in our basement when the snow melted last spring and called Mud Monkeys after reading their reviews on HomeStars. It turned out we had a type of cistern (approximately 4'x6'x4') buried at the back of our house abutting against the basement wall that was the source of the problem. Darby and his crew explained everything to us, were prompt - both in giving a quote and then coming to do the work. kept us fully informed about progress, did a professional job removing the cistern and waterproofing the walls, including clean up when they were done.

    Waterproofing

    Darby, Nick and the Mud Monkeys team did a fantastic job waterproofing the foundation of our 70 year old house. We had the work done on a different side of the house every year or two to spread out the expense. They were professional, reliable, on budget and on time, every time. I was amazed that they were able get to the foundation under our deck and do the work with absolutely no damage to the deck. I highly recommend Mud Monkeys!

    Waterproofing

    We called several companies when our basement flooded last Spring. The Mud Monkeys responded immediately to assess our situation! They were thorough and professional, giving us all of our options and associated cost. We highly recommend them and will only use them going forward.

    Basement waterproofing

    Had a foundation leak in in the basement of our 100 year old house. They came to inspect the issue and found that it looked like it was coming up from around the footing. We ended up having three walls done from the inside and had a sump pump added when it was discovered that there was significant dampness behind the walls. Their work was fast and professional and the basement is now dry. We would happily recommend them.

    Underpinning of an old house in Leslieville (1914)

    We just bought our first family home and have a small baby daughter (under a year old). We had some money saved up after the house purchase and wanted to renovate our basement. After a lot of back and forth we decided to get our house underpinned! It was a big decision but we have no regrets whatsoever. The basement had 6.5ft. ceiling height which made it only useful for storage and maybe laundry. Because of the age of the house there was a lot of make-shift projects (old countertops, half a bathroom, old shelves) left in the basement. Mud Monkeys came and with hyper-efficiency removed all the garbage and did a fantastic job getting permits, bins in and out, and dug out an additional 2.5 ft. (9ft total) in our basement. We feel like we gained a whole new floor of our house and we are planning our 3rd bathroom, walkout, and rec room down there. They completed the job within schedule and budget. Thanks Mud Monkeys!

    Waterproofing Interior Wall

    Professional through and through. Performed their work quickly and efficiently with no mess. Good staff and management. The project manager always kept me informed. A professional plumber recommended Mud Monkeys. I was very pleased with the outcome.

    Waterproof

    After multiple failed attempts at waterproofing our basement with other companies, we were referred to Mud Monkeys. From the beginning Darby was extremely helpful, understanding and professional. The team was very friendly, polite and worked hard to get the job done on time, with zero added or surprise cost's at the end. We can't thank Mud Monkey's enough for the work they did. Gone are the days of worry when rain is in the forecast!

    They deserve 6 stars

    Super friendly and very professional. They actually sealed our basement a year and a half ago and it's been dry since, even after all the recent storms. No more water on our basement floor. Thanks again!

    Interior basement waterproofing

    Great work. On recommendation from a friend, I hired Mud Monkeys to do an interior waterproofing job in the basement on my bungalow-style house. Over the past couple of years, I had been experiencing water leaking into my basement during heavy rainstorms. I’d had conversations and visits with Darby over a period of time to assess the best options for my situation and he was always very informative and patient with all of my questions and concerns. I felt like I was in good and reliable hands. Jake and the crew that carried out the physical task of waterproofing the basement (and the tricky crawlspace area under the stairs) did a great job. Above and beyond. Always friendly, easy to answer any questions along the way and would consistently tidy up at the end of each day. Their professional work was completed on budget and on time as stated at the outset. I would not hesitate to recommend Mud Monkeys to anyone with water issues in their basement.     Basement Dig, Underpin and Waterproof

    We hired Mud Monkeys to dig out, underpin and waterproof our basement and crawlspace. It was not an easy job but Darby and his team did a superb job and we're thrilled with the end result. The crew were great to work with despite the difficult conditions, always on time and available to answer questions and requests, and cleaned up every day when they were done. They were very accommodating when we ran into any hiccups along the way and very transparent, fair and honest when it came to price. Would definitely highly recommend them!
