Dealing with Canadian Roofing was a pleasure from beginning to end. The quote was clearly explained and we were given options. After we made the choice to go with Canadian Roofing, I was happy to see so many of their trucks dotted around the city - a sure sign that they were reputable and dependable. The work was done to spec, on budget and on time. The workers were friendly and polite, and did a great job protecting our property and the property of our neighbours. When the job was done, there was almost no debris around the yard, and my garden survived! The house looks great, the leaking has stopped and we are very happy. When it's time to do the eaves troughs we will be calling on them. A huge thank you to Jason Hunter and his team.

My wife and I purchased a very old home in the Toronto area. It was a semi, not huge, but given its age - had a LOT of work to be done on the roof to be brought back up to standard. Doing the work involved stripping off 4 layers of shingles. As this would be a costly job, my wife and I wanted to be sure we did our diligence. After seeing 7 or 8 roofers, we settled on Canadian Roofers. The job took 3 days to complete and after waiting several months before writing this review, can say that they have done a great job (its withstood some bad rainstorms to date). Bill showed a lot of professionalism from the moment he arrived. Unfortunately, with these types of renovations, the price is not always determined at the outset and the price was increased mid-construction although I can't blame Canadian Roofers for this. There was also some damage done to our internal drywall during the roofing work beneath our skylight (again, not their fault, but a result of removing 4 layers of shingles). We still have yet to get it fixed to look cleaner but structurally it remains very sound and watertight. In the end, it was a costlier job than expected but a necessary expense that comes with home ownership. We also asked them to come back and fix some of the eaves trough at the back, which they did without hesitation. On the whole, I think they did a great job.

I needed a new roof on my house and chose the Canadian Roofing Company on the recommendation of a good friend who was raving about them. My friend is generally not liberal with complements so I had high expectations for Canadian Roofing Company and Jason and his crew did not let me down. Right from the beginning Jason Hunter took me step by step through the process and explained each thing they needed to do and why it needed to be done. It was a big job that took a week to complete. Jason kept in contact with me daily and patiently answered my endless questions. His crew was professional and very hard working. They pulled 12 hour days in the blazing heat and worked non stop. I don't know how they did it...but they did and now I have the best roof in the neighborhood! After the repairs were complete Jason personally stopped by my home to make sure I was happy with the results and to answer any additional questions before he would even invoice me. He is very committed to customer service and top notch work. If you need your roof repaired or replaced Canadian Roofing Company is the only way to go.

We dealt with Jason Hunter to re-build and repair chimneys and replace our roof. Jason was very professional and knowledgeable, he explained everything in detail. He and his team did a fantastic job and very efficient. He has installed extra vents on our roof for better air circulation. My wife and I very satisfied with the work had done by them. Excellent job re-shingling our heritage home and garage. Estimate was accurate and comprehensive, including photos of problem areas on the roof. Work was done on time, as scheduled. Very professional outfit. Clean-up was excellent....I only found one very small piece of shingle after they were done. You can probably find cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Excellent value for price paid and a job well-done. I have subsequently recommended them to several friends, neighbours and colleagues.

When it became apparent that we were going to have to entirely redo our flat roof (as well as reshingling the garage) we were very cautious about who we were going to hire for this major piece of work. After researching various companies on Home Stars, we received inspections and quotes from three different companies. The price quoted by Jason at Canadian Roofing Company was comparable to the others-- what really set this company apart was the level of detail and clear dedication to the work. Jason provided me with a detailed quote, describing the exact breakdown of cost and potential variables not addressed by the other two quotes (for instance, the potential need to replace some of the underlying plywood). He also provided me with an incredibly detailed description of the processes he uses. His dedication to the work and knowledge were evident, and I felt very comfortable hiring him for the work. The crew that did the work were efficient and friendly. Their cleanup was impeccable, and no stray materials were left behind. We had an independent inspection of the roof done both prior to the work and following it-- the difference is evident in photos. Our inspector was also impressed with the quality of the work. I would happily use Canadian Roofing Company again-- though hopefully I won't have to! I will also definitely recommend them to friends.

Jason was extremely professional. He described everything that was going to be done. All the work was done on time. We are very happy with the work that was done. We have used them in the past to re-do our eavestrough as well.

We bought a house last August, 2011 knowing that the roof will be replaced within a few months. So early this year I started asking around for a good roofing contractor to replace my roof. I found Canadian Roofing, as well as other companies in Homestar and also from referrals. Based on Homestar site feedback plus other referrals, I did initial inquiry on the telephone. I finally chose 3 contractors to check my roof and they all provided me with estimates. I found Jason’s quote not the lowest. It was not only full of numbers, but with a complete story on how his team will handle the project. I was amazed by his attention to details and various alternatives. Jason presented to us alternatives on the roofing materials, type of shingles, and other preventive materials. My wife and I again called him to ask some clarifications and we were satisfied with his explanation. He is a guy who can easily communicate technical terms to non-technical people like us. He has the patience and superior customer service. After weighing the options and comparing Jason’s quotes with others, we ended up choosing Canadian Roofing. Jason’s team arrived as scheduled, with all the materials ready, they completed the job in one day. The guys were so efficient that they cleaned up my neighbour’s yard as well. I will definitely recommend this company to my neighbours and friends. Good job Jason, Justin and the team!
