I was having a problem with peeling paint around my front porch. I did not know if the cause was eaves or roof related. Jason came to my home promptly and at no charge and after a thorough inspection, determined that neither of these was the cause which was actually due to many years of many layers of paint that were no longer adhering to the surface. I am confident that if the roof had been an issue, Jason would have willingly and without cost to me, made any necessary repairs.

The Canadian Roofing Company replaced my entire house's roof. This included a re-framing and re-sloping of my flat roof, which had been ponding badly. They were efficient, capable, knowlegable and attentive to detail. They got the job done in just over two days and the final product looks fantastic. They were able to co-ordinate seamlessly with other contractors (I had insulation added as well). There were no surprise extras: the one item which came up (the ponding flat roof) they explained the situation clearly and waited for our decision. They were quick to respond to our questions and concerns, and were able to give great advise, including the colour! Pick these guys over the cheap fast and dirty contractors; your roof is too important.

After receiving a few quotes a neighbour offered a referral and I called immediately. Candadian Roofing was the only company that actually got on the roof and took pictures of the damage (which encompassed a new section as well as an old section). Canadian replaced the entire roof for less than another neighbourhood company had quoted for a partial roof. They expedited the job (2 days) and my husband was amazed at the tidiness of the site at the end of the first day. More importantly, my teenaged daughter and friends felt very at ease, when coming in and out of our home during this two day process-the staff were very respectful and professional. I arrived home on the second day to find everything restored to its proper place (even my flip flops were placed neatly on a rug by the back door-attention for detail was incredible!

Very satisfied with the service. Company is very knowledgeable in what they do. Estimate was technically, exactly what I was looking for, all options that I was looking for were quoted without asking. Quote was in line with others, offering scope that was necessary and desirable. Installation was fast - one day, and was reflecting quote exactly. Installers were friendly and willing to satisfy customer. Very efficient installation with knowledgeable installers. Highly recommended.

Jason did my whole roof appox two years ago with the addition of my garage, the job was 6500. There was no mess, it was done efficiently and he came back looked at the roof and was not satisfied with something in the front on the overhang and has his guys re do it, I could not see the problem. This year I had to have him back to repair a portion of my roof, I had solar tube energy tubes over 100 of them intalled, which was a poor job and had to have them removed. Jason came and estimated a cost, was so upset with what had happened to us, but repaired the holes in my roof, replaced the shigles which were ruined and you can not see where or what he did. All evidence of the solar tubes are gone. Thanks Jason

When my wife and I first noticed the roof needed new shingles all we could hear was Mike Holmes words of warning about water damage, mold etc. We came to HomeStars to find a company who could do the job. We called five companies and entertained 5 estimates and we got the usual sales pitch from everyone with prices ranging from 4k to 12k. Quite a spread. What set Canadian apart was Jason Hunter's down to earth honesty. After reviewing all the estimates what stood out the most was his matter of fact, straight forward honesty. He talked us out of getting Cambridge style saying it wouldn't look nice on our low slope roof; he noticed that one section of the roof required a 9 foot ice and water shield as opposed to a 3 to 6 foot ice shield because the roof overhang was larger, no one else noticed; and he didn't try to push us on wrapping the rest of roof, he left it up to us and said it could be done at a minimal charge. The others, they tried to convince us that we needed a new ventilation system including soffats but required cutting off the crown of the roof for x amount of dollars more; we needed the cambridge shingles; another said we had to sign the estimate right away or the price would increase...Jason, he went up on the roof, measured and discussed with us in the middle of a snow shower what had to be done. Finally when the day came we expected maybe a crew of 5 tops. 10 roofers came out, 10! My father who lives with us, him and I just sat outside and watched these guys do their magic. One section at a time(we have 6 sides on our roof). They arrived around 10 and they where done by 5. Whichever section they where working on was tarped underneath. When they where finished, each member of the team looked for debris and they took magnetic brooms over and over and over every area. The only debris my wife and I could find after was a piece of old felt that blew into a tree. My father was very impressed and some of you know how a 94 year young person can be. Even my neighbours called and complimented Canadian on the job they did. Bottom line, I can't say enough about Jason and the Canadian Roofer Company. Everyone was outstanding, courteous and professional in aspect of their job. Everyone knew exactly what had to be done and where.

Late last year I had my flat roof done by another roofing company(see my other review). That other roofing company was incompetent as their roof was defective from the start....it leaked twice within a couple of weeks. Now very weary of roofing companies in general, I decided to try Canadian Roofing Company based on the favourable reviews on this site. Bill Kishonti was a pleasure to deal with. Cdn Roofing Co. resloped the flat roof by getting their very skilled carpenter to build a new one. New roofing material and shingles blended seamlessly with the portion of roof that wasn't redone. The aluminum work looks great. This was a very big job that was quickly and professionally done. The was one very minor issue after the job was done, and Bill ensured it was dealt with quickly These guys are highly recommended!!

Jason was very informative and personable. His team worked efficiently and everyone we talked to was professional and courteous. There was one delay in getting some of the final pieces in but overall we were very happy with the service Jason and his crew provided. We feel we have a great, strong new roof (a small peaked roof and a flat roof that had to be taken down to the badly rotted joists and rebuilt) and have recommended the company to friends and neighbours.

Jason spent over an hour with me discussing our roof project and provided a lot more information than any of the other three company's estimates that we'd received. I felt quite educated after speaking with Jason and I felt that he understood what we wanted and didn't want. We spoke several times on the phone and Jason seemed to have a very genuine interest in making sure that we were happy throughout the process. The crew got our roof done in one day (eaves and fascai came later) and were great guys. They helped me lift a dishwasher into the house, which was a big help, and they seemed happy to do it. The lot was left cleaner than it was when they started! Thanks guys!

The roof guys were amazing! In fact, I told them that I thought there might have been something (like an animal) behind my wall because I heard scratching noises in the night. they actually checked behind my walls to make sure that there was nothing there for me and I really appreciated that. They took the initiative to find out for me. They did an amazing job on the roof as well.
