Daniel knows his stuff and is going to give you an overall fix to the problem, by blocking any possible points of entry. As well as dealing with the pests in the house. It was the overall solution I was looking for. A bit pricey but rest assured, the job will be done right.Answer from pro:
Hey Steve. Thank you so much for this honest review. I really appreciate the kind words about how we operate. You explained exactly what I started this company to do. Pricing can get into the higher end when there is a lot of work to do. I don't walk away from problems and leave them for you to resolve. When there are a lot of holes and a lot of vacuuming and sanitizing to do, we will do it. Everything is always proposed to you for consideration before the work starts. It is a new approach to pest control and some people can take it as a shock when they find out what their home actually needs to be pest proofed. I really appreciate the honesty. I think this review will help others to know what to expect when we show up.

Pest Free Canada gave us a permanent solution that actually worked. We are rodent free for the first time in 5 years! I cannot thank them enough for going the extra distance and finding the problems and then fixing them permanently. They did a thorough examination of the outside of the house, found entrance points (even going so far as carefully removing decking which they put back together perfectly), even going into dank crawl spaces. They were knowledgeable, earnest and compassionate. I can’t tell you how relieved I am that I found them. You will not regret booking this company that believes in FIXING the house problem instead of just coming back with bait boxes every few months to try to manage the problem.Answer from pro:
Astrid, what can I say? You have been such a big supporter since we first met for the inspection. I can't thank you enough for this review. Hearing that another pest control company telling customers they don't seal holes where mice are clearly coming in, is the most ridiculous thing hear in my day to day. You can go to Home Depot and buy bait boxes yourself! Getting a review like this lets me know what I have built is exactly what people need and want in order to solve a problem. Going the extra mile and not doing things the easy way or the fast way is the only solution to solving a difficult problem. Placing bait stations and walking away is never going to resolve a problem. Thank you so much for this. Leo and I truly appreciate it, you put the biggest smile on our faces when we read this together.

Review left on 8 May 2026Rating: 5 out of 5Rodent pest control: Rats; Townhouse(Updated on 8 May 2026)Finally a company that cares!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Honestly, we were so frustrated with companies who didn’t want to do the work that was required to help us get rid of our vermin’s. (Most charge hundreds of dollars so they can keep coming back and keep on charging!!) Daniel was right on target when it came to fixes and repairs to keep the darn things out. He also got us in touch with another contractor who will get rid of our 40+year attic insulation so he can come back and seal things up from the inside. Daniel is the “only” person from all the companies that actually went into the attic to inspect and afterwards, made us aware of our serious issue of mold and possible entry points through townhouse walls. Definitely looking forward to having Daniel come back when the attic is empty and sterilized to finish sealing. We are so impressed with Daniel. Honestly, you need a guy like him to solve your problems!! Highly, highly recommend!!!Answer from pro:

From the very first call, they were both professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. What really stood out was how thorough they were. When they arrived, they didn’t just do a quick job and leave, they took the time to carefully inspect every nook and cranny, checking for possible entry points and explaining everything along the way. It was clear they genuinely care about solving the problem properly, not just applying a quick fix. In contrast to other pest control services that simply place bait boxes and say prevention is too difficult, Daniel and Leo went the extra mile to identify where pests could actually get in and address those issues.
