Toilet waste pipe height guidance needed

My toilet waste pipe through the wall sits at 200mm from the floor to the midpoint. But it looks like all the new toilets have outlets at 180mm. My question is, do I need to move the waste pipe or are there toilets available with a higher outlet? Or is there another solution? Thank you!

You do not need to move your waste pipe, as several simple options can bridge that 20mm gap. You can purchase a flexible pan connector or an eccentric/offset connector, which safely misaligns the toilet outlet to meet the higher wall pipe. Alternatively, you can place a 20mm plinth or durable spacer under the base of a standard 180mm toilet to raise the entire unit to the correct height. Finally, some brands still manufacture toilets with a 200mm high outlet, so you can search specifically for those measurements to get a direct fit.
