Can I use plaster bonding over copper pipes in a brick wall?

Anonymous user 30/09/2025 - 4:03 AM

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for taking the time to help me out. I've got about 60 cm of copper pipes from my radiator in the hallway that I'd like to hide in the brick wall. The pipes are a bit apart from each other and I've bonded them on top. My plan is to use some mesh, bond the whole wall again and then do a skim coat of plaster. However, I'm aware that copper pipes can expand and move slightly when they heat up and cool down. I'm just trying to figure out if this approach will actually work given my tight space constraints, or if there's a better way to tackle this. Really appreciate any advice you can give me!
