Replacing Stove Door Handle

I have a GE stove model: JCSP42ER3WW serial: SA553004P and the door handle is broken. the oven works fine. Am I able to use a GE fridge door handle to replace the GE stove handle?

If the mounting holes do not match up, it would not work. As long as the stove handle has no locking mechanism in it and the mounting holes and screws fit than you can use it.

No, absolutely do not do this. • Reason 1 (Safety): Fridge handles are not designed for high oven temperatures and will melt. • Reason 2 (Fit): The screw locations and handle structure of a fridge are completely different from an oven door and will not align.
