I need advice on cleaning dark bamboo floors throughout my kitchen and the entire first floor. They show every speck of dust and mark, and I'm looking for cleaning tips. obviously bona, they have a shine, they are awful to upkeep. how to get grease off (kitchen use) and keep the shine.

Are you a pro and able to answer this question?

Dark bamboo floors look great but need the right routine. Dry clean first (microfiber mop or vacuum) — dust is the main issue Use a pH-neutral hardwood cleaner (like Bona), spray lightly — no excess water For grease: clean with microfiber, then dry right away Avoid vinegar, soap, or all-purpose cleaners (they leave residue and kill the shine) Tip: Dark shiny floors will always show dust — frequent light cleaning works better than deep washing.

Dark bamboo floors show every speck of dust because their deep color acts like a mirror, and using the wrong cleaners leaves a cloudy, streaky residue that ruins the factory shine. To cut through heavy kitchen grease and maintain that pristine luster without leaving streaks, you must switch from a wet mop strategy to a microfiber damp-buffing method
