New Vinyl Windows: How Do I Install My Blinds?

Hello, I just got new vinyl windows installed and now I want to put up some blinds. There's a lot of plastic trim around the window and no wood. Does anyone have tips on how to do a good job with the installation? Thanks!

I wouldn't screw into the vinyl frame. You can damage the window and the company can give you trouble on the warranty. If the trim is plastic with no wood behind it, mount the brackets on the wall above the trim where you can hit something solid, or just use the no-drill type blinds. Way safer on new windows.
