Ivey Removal / Roofing

I have ivey on the top of my 3 storey victorian house in Toronto I can't reach to remove. Do I contact roofers or ivey removal people? I'm not sure if it is causing a leak in a part of the house that is not where they ivey is.

Window cleaners like ourselves often cut ivy.
Roofers would be the most expensive route.
Landscapers don't work with ladders too often.
