Replacing Screen Mesh on Storm Door

You will need new screening material, spline and spline roller (concave wheel that helps guide the spline into the groove, then the convex roller used to press the spline firmly into place). All can be purchased from your local Hardware store. Lay the new screen mesh over the frame, starting at one corner use the spline roller to press the spline into the groove keeling the scree taut but not stretched excessively. Once the spline is fully installed, trim the excess screen with a utility knife.

You remove the rubber around the door and put a new screen on it and use the rolling tool to insert the rubber seal around the door and make sure that it's secure and all even around the door
