A qualified demolition technician should be able to do perform all the demolition work. I have not come across experts in certain types of residential demolition.

You don’t necessarily need to hire separate crews for the kitchen demolition and the flooring demolition. A good, experienced demolition crew should be able to handle both. The same crew can remove the kitchen, take up the existing layers of flooring down to the subfloor, and properly prepare the surface by removing glue and other residue and smoothing it as needed for the new flooring installation. Using one reliable crew can also make the process more efficient and avoid having to coordinate between multiple contractors.
