Replace old, cracked, front walkway, 23 feet long, approximately 36" wide, ices badly in winter

What is the best way to have a easily shovelled front walk that perhaps is raised so water does not collect on it, making it an ice hazard in winter.

The best way to shovel is not to dump the snow around close to the edges, make sure to take the snow away from the walkway, if it's the interlocking walkway make sure not to use the rock salt , use the sand instead, if it's concrete walkway you can use the salt
