So much for "we'll show up when we say we will". We had to call and follow up on our order a week after the timeframe estimated by the sales person (Michael, who also arrived almost an hour late for the quote appt and we had to call and see if he was still coming - that should have been our first clue that something was wrong). We then booked an appt for install 2 Saturdays later only to receive a message on the Friday afternoon prior to install that they could no longer do it as there installer decided to take the day off (I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed a day off but they should be more organized and not book appts if that's the case). We then booked for today. They were to arrive 9:30-10am. At noon my husband drove 35 minutes back home from work on his lunch to check on the progress only to show up and find no one there. After a couple calls to Dodds, they advised that the installers went to a different job and weren't coming. The only thing they could do was cancel someone else's job for Monday and install ours. If this is the level of service we can expect than we have no confidence in their install either. We've cancelled our order and asked for our money back.

While my husband was away on the business trip we had an accident with our garage door and had to be replaced. Usually my husband deals with contractors. I called two garage companies, Dodds was one of them. I must say I was very impressed by Dodds’ knowledge and professional conduct. Salesman answered my questions and gave me great advice.
Installation was possible within a week. Service was also very professional, polite and clean. I recommend Dodds highly to my friends and neighbors.

I ordered a pair of new garage doors for the automation and insulation, and while the initial installation was technically sound I felt it was installed a few inches too low for my 6'2" frame. Although I had some troubles initially getting a response from Dodds, they did eventually address my problem and came back to correct the issue, with thankfully no additional costs involved.

The doors now look fantastic, and the new rails are the perfect height.

The door these guys put in way great. The work they did was superb and I would highly recommend them. We had a wide selection to choose from and we ended up going with the insulated door.

I purchased a garage door from Dodd's and received a great price, great service and a great door. My estimate and installation was all done within 1 week - estimate on Sunday and installed on Friday morning. No clean up needed as the old door was also taken away. We are very satisfied!

Dodds installed a new garage door back in the Spring/Summer of 2008 and they did a pretty good job, but their after service needs a major overhauling. When the door was installed one of the window inserts was warped and had to be replaced and we called right away. 3 service calls and 10 months later they replaced it. Everytime a service person showed up they were given the wrong information and said they would be back and then never showed. The funny thing is they were all very nice and apologetic but the problem never resolved and the funny thing is that they still were not paid for the product and we had this much trouble, I can only imagine if they had already been paid.

it would close, but, then, suddenly AND randomly reopen. We booked an appointment for a service call and not only did the service people show up on time, but the WAITED for us - we were delayed in meeting them. Very Pleasant! Very Professional! Very Courteous! Very Knowledgeable! They diagnosed the problem immediately, readjusted the belt, adjusted the pressure sensor and lubricated all of the "moving parts". JOB DONE!!!

Service was prompt and installation done on time and at price as quoted.Service personnel was pleasant and helpful.Instructions on operation of new door opener was informative and clearly understood.Garbage removed as requested.

Dodds doors put a garage door in for us about 10years a go...we have never looked back...it has been a wonderful door...never giving trouble except for once, soon after installation..and they came out to fix it right away, and since that time...we have been more than happy with the product they sold us and the service we received

My garage door opener failed in the evening. I called the Dodds 7/24 hotline at 11pm and elected to use their call back option. They called me back at 8am the next day and had a service truck with two technicians at my door by 1pm (in a snow storm). They diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me the option of repair or new opener, both of which they could do on the spot. I decided to go with the new unit and had a new LiftMaster Professional installed with dual safety system for less than $400 (including installation and taxes) less than an hour later.

The technicians (John and Rob) were very curteous and showed me all of the features, explained the warranty, and carted away my old opener and rail. I am pleased with the service that I received and I would recommend Dodds without hesitation.
