Furniture Depot

This for the the location on Bovaird in Brampton. We ordered quite a few items which i was very excited about at the time but that was very short lived. I placed my order in Sept/2010 and lets just say we are at April/2011 and I still have not received one of the items i paid for. We were told that the sofa's would take 6 weeks and they were custom made but everything else would take not even a week...great! So we finally got the sofa's in January but that was after 2 missed appointments(which wasted my day and time waiting at home for nothing) then we went to assemble the beds and of course after my wooden stairs being tracked on by wet shoes and dirt on my carpet because they wouldn't take off their shoes or put anything down the bed was broken in about 5 spots. We called them right away when this happened and they told us in 2 weeks they will send up another one. So after calling since of course we did not receive a call after the two weeks we repeatedly were being told that the manufacturer wasn't getting back to them and that they wanted pictures. Ok no problem so we sent the pictures and again were told two weeks. We waited from Jan 2011 to March 2011 and the bed is finally there so all we need to do is have it delivered right?! Apparently not...we have had 5 missed appointments some of which they call at 9pm to let us know that they can't make it because they are too busy. Dealing with the staff from this facility is the most frustrating and mind knawing experience that anyone should ever have to deal with. We are in April and I'm still waiting. They are the worst, the most unprofessional and the most bull crapping people to deal with. Please take the bad reviews that you are seeing and please understand and listen when we are telling you not to buy from this establishment. It is not worth it. If I had to pay a $1000.00 more for ontime delivery respect and consideration I would have paid it in a heartbeat. If you choose to still buy from these people, please read the back of the receipt that you sign. You will notice they get compensation for everything but when anything is their fault you will receive NOTHING for it.

Purchased a TV console in Oct/2010. Received the wrong color in Nov. Sent it back to be re-stained in Nov and just today (Mar.2nd) we hear that the company that Furniture Depot contracted to re-stain our console wants too much $ so furniture depot is not honoring the sale and we are not getting our TV console.

During this whole process furniture depot did not return our calls once and every time I called I was told it will be ready in 2 weeks. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with and would not recommend this company to anyone. This has been a very frustrating 5 month process and I don't understand how a company that treats its clients like this can stay in business.

I'm still waiting for Furniture Depot to return our deposit and draw (which I lent to Furniture Depot to refinish our TV Console). You would think that they would return our deposit and the draw when they know this transaction has felt through. No I have to call them on Friday to remind them to retun my Deposit. As for my draw, I was told that I won't be able to get it back until their contractor return it. Urgggg....What a nightmare!!!! What a mickymouse operations!!!!

For those of you out there thinking of purchase furniture through Furniture Depot. Please think twice!!! I read the reviews like everyone else before deciding to order the furnitures. Saw one bad review and thought that was a rare occasion. Now that we experienced Furniture Depot bad and unprofessional services. I highly recommend everyone to reconsider and not to purchase from this company and experience the headache I've gone through!!!

Just got my delivery from The Furniture Depot of my North Shore bedroom set by Ashley. I found this store on web and i'm glad i did they had the best price for the set and i also bought a Sealy mattress while i was there, i've also been looking at mattresses and they gave me a great package price. Thanks again... i will be back !

My brother recently separated so he was getting his own place in Brampton. All he had was a freezer, his clothes and a guitar. He has not worked since being laid off in Dec so times are tuff for him. I went to funiture depot and was able to find him a couch and table at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I purchased a few items for my home and went back on the following day to purchase a few more items. I paid cash for them and with in a few weeks my furniture was delivered. The delivery man did not unload the goods, till I paid the remaining balance on my invoice and the goods were dropped off. I first noticed the sofa table I purchased was wrapped in shrink wrap and I was surprised to see it that way. I opened it and found a few scuffs all around it's sides, a small chip and some marks all over the top. I went back the following day to speak with the sales person who sold me these items and to my surprise the table on the showroom floor was also not there. This only raised my curiosity if Furniture depot sold me a brand new item and shipped me the floor demo (model). Well, they denied that. I have been in contact with the store and their customer serive rep. They sent a technician to touch up the table and I was okay with that till I saw the job done. It was totally unacceptable. He only touched up one side of the legs of the table and tried to touch up the table top with a blob of light brown touch up on the very top (front of the) table. This table is as you enter my home and is the first thing a guest would see. It is important to me that I get what I paid for. What is the principal here? Is the store trying to get rid of their floor model and charge me the regular price of the item? Of course, I called the same evening to tell them of what I found when I came home and about the quality of the handy work their techincian is capable of. Well, I was promissed again by the sales person that they will order in a new table for me and will call me to make arrangements for the exchange. All I require from this company is an exchage!!

Let me just say that I also purchased a dinning table set and they forgot the legs. It took about 3 hours of my life to get another the missing parts. I had to wait at the store for about an hour and then they sent me to the manufacturers' place to pick one up on a Saturday morning. Let's say they were closed to the public and had an open house for their direct customers. So, I was told they had given these parts to Furniture Depot and to go back there to get my table legs. After hours of sitting in my car till they made all the necessary arrangements as per the store sales person. She was pleading for me to stay and get my parts. Also, now a chair from this set broke when we were installing it and the store has yet to find the part they claim they have ordered.

So, all I am saying is that I was really happy when I made all these purchases. Waited for my things to arrive, paid them and now they are leaving me totally unsatisfied. No one will return my calls, I will now have to try and go back in person to find the owner/manager. However, he is never available. I will let you all know what comes of this. But, I am not happy at this time and why frustrate your customers?????

My friend referred me to Furniture Depot - I'm glad she did!! They provided excellent service to me and my family! They added that "personal" touch that you don't see that often anymore. They made the experience of buying furniture quick and easy!!!

The sales staff was great, good selection, the prices were really good.. overall i am very happy with my diningroom suite..once again thank you..i'm soo happy i will tell all my friends about this place.
