As a result the very dry summer this year (2016), our lawn, which was subject to the scorching sun all day long without the benefit of shade, was totally burned and destroyed, with the only thing left being stubborn and disgusting weeds. We thought the only way to restore it would be to completely overhauling and sodding it. We contacted several lawn care companies for a quote, one of which being LawnSavers. Aida of LawnSavers, who responded to my enquiry, suggested that instead of sodding, we should do a “lawn renovation”, which includes a complete lawn revamping and reseeding. We decided to go with this approach.
Shortly after our decision to engage LawnSavers, they came to do the work, which included eradicating the weeds and other vegetation, aeration, and power seeding. To our delight, a week or so after, a thick lush green new lawn appeared. Of course, we have done our part by watering diligently as instructed, and the rain helped too. We are happy that we made the right decision, i.e. reseeding instead of sodding. It was much cheaper too. To ascertain that the new lawn will not be destroyed by the harsh weather again, we had sprinklers installed too, by a separate company recommended by LawnSavers too. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome.
