Mattamy was on my hitlist for poor customer service but after 4 months after closing they have fixed my discrepancies with my new home purchase so I give them a 4 stars, Mark the building Sup. did a good job trying to respond as quickly as he could with all the new construction,

Mattamy is perception with no reality. They use shiny fliers and have nice model homes then they rush you through their tract home building process and sell you "cheap" overpriced homes. They use 2500psi concrete, flat interior paint and offer you upgrades like $250 led lights or options that the model home has that you can't purchase. You sign a 60 page contract with them where you are dealing with wall street and have no ability to make changes. I emailed the sales associate and she emailed me a few days later saying sorry I was working until 9pm been really busy. Wow, that is a great answer for customer service. You will notice their is no way to contact any of the higher ups in the Mattamy hierarchy. Mattamy is great for someone who doesn't look into the details of things and just accepts things as status quo but once you look into how cheaply built your home is you will see there is a reason for their shiny fliers and fancy model homes, they are making a big profit on you. I will stop writing before my emotions get the best of me but that's the problem as a homebuyer you have no ability to do anything about issues or concerns with this company so I will resort to an internet rant. You've been warned.
