Pesticon was timely and effective in their service. I required a follow up treatment for the ants (common and no fault of the initial treatment) and the provider responded promptly to my call. He was very responsive to my concerns and questions about safety of his products for my young children. I would highly recommend him.

I had a major problem in one of my rental properties. There were rats and ants, I tried other pest control companies in the past. Unfortunately, both the rats and ants would come back. Pesticon was the only company that got to root of the problem, and I have been free of both the ants and rats. I highly recommend using them, if you are looking for long term.

When carpenter ants suddenly appeared in our kitchen and basement, we tried in vain to eradicate them with ant traps. After two weeks, we called Pesticon which provided a reasonable quote relative to other companies that we had phoned. Waheed arrived promptly the next day at the agreed time. He patiently explained our problem and its solution, as well as the possibility of a recurrence. He explained that the work was warranted for 6 months, during which he is prepared to return as often as required to resolve the problem. Waheed sprinkled a non-toxic powder in strategic locations. As I write this review, two weeks after the treatment, the ants have been controlled very effectively.

We moved into a 10-year old house and discovered black ants in our kitchen. We tried to handle at our own from hardware store but did not succeed. We live in a rental apartment. Every once in a while some cheap, not poor, people keep on picking up garbage furniture from the street. The furniture is usally infested with all sorts of bugs.

We are sick and tired of all of this crap. We called Pesticon Pest control and Mr. [last name removed -- Ed] came along, and thanfully we have not had any issues since then.

We moved into an apartment and, within a week, discovered it has bedbugs. I work in an architecture firm, and knew of Homestars through my firm. I looked up "Pest Control" and after a lot of reading and comparing, was impressed with reviews for Pesticon. The reviews weren't only pretty positive, they were also really consistent. I felt like I had a picture of a man. Everyone said Waheed [last name removed-- Ed] was professional, knowledgable, kind, etc. I called and he answered on the first ring.

He came the next day, calling in advance with his ETA, and arriving on time. They started going straight to work. He said it would take about an hour, and we went to lunch.

He was very patient with all our questions. His answers were balanced and wise.

That was a week ago. The bites have decreased considerably, but not subsided entirely. We may need to be sprayed again, which is something he includes in his price and 6-month warranty. The problem is compounded by a negligent landlord, a very creaky and crack-y building,and neighbours who are complacent. My understanding is it's more challenging to eliminate in a multi-resential building, for those reasons.

I trust Waheed to do everything in his control to eliminate this from our unit. He is a man with a great deal of personal integrity, it is apparent. He takes immense pride in his work. There are a lot of people getting into this business because it's a pretty lucrative field right now. Make sure you check people's credentials and history so that like bedbugs they are not 'fly by night.' Waheed has been a working entemologist for 2 decades or so, and he's grown Pesticon through positive word of mouth. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. If more people were like him with what they do, life wouldn't have half the problems it does.
