We had Otto fix a collapsed and imploding fieldstone door opening in the basement of our 120-yr old heritage home in Toronto. He put in a steel girder, an 18-inch-thick fieldstone wall in place of the door well, removed debris outside and backfilled.
The work looks great, robust, fits in well with the rest of the 120-yr-old wall, and looks pristine from outside.
Otto is very pleasant and helpful, and his workers are neat and polite. No cost escalation, bait-and-switch or any other shenanigans - he's an honest man.
His company is first on my list for a complete repointing next year.
I would highly recommend him.
