My experience is with the Niagara office of Closets by Design in Ontario.

They changed the installation date several times after we had taken our days off for the installation day which was super inconvenient

The installer finally came with parts missing so had to schedule a second visit. This delayed my use of a much needed office.

There was a big communication gap between the designer, the manager at the office and the installer.
The Manager handling our order was not well informed. Had no idea about missing parts and pending work. Sent the wrong parts with the installer.

Our designer went off on vacation and I was not able to request for a change in design. I called the office several times to explain my request for a change to the design and my inability to contact the designer to make the request as per their policy that only the designer can change the design.. I was assured several times by staff at the Niagara office that the change would be made.

I requested rounded corners but received countertops with sharp pointed corners (picture attached).
The electric point box is left sitting on the countertop instead of being fixed into the countertop because the technician did not have the appropriate tools to cut the counter top (picture attached)
As a result of the designer being on vacation I could get the design reverted and I ended up getting two pieces of countertop instead of one solid piece, very poorly aligned (picture attached)

I will never use Closets by Design again.

They were very professional, on time and my designer (Maggie) was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with this company

We just moved into a new condo and had Closets By Design design and install a walk-in closet, a work station and pantry shelving. We are more than happy with the final result and would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate or upgrade their current living spaces.

We absolutely love our new closets. From start to finish Wendy was wonderful to work with - extremely professional and creative with our design needs. Installation day went more smoothly than expected. Martin was pleasant, quick and the work area was left very clean. Would definitely use again.

From the design meeting to the installation, Closets By Design was so easy to deal with. Friendly and personable employees who were a joy to deal with. Thank you for helping me bring my closet design to life and make it so much more functional.

We needed extra closet space in our Condo and had plenty of extra room in our Master Bedroom. Sales representative designed an 8’ closet which has provided what we need and looks great. Quality and
installation is great.

This the second time we have used Closets by Design, first one was in Toronto and second from in Burlington through Closets by Design Niagara. Very friendly staff, walked us through every step and made the process very simple. Installation was almost 03 months after we signed the agreement due to demand but otherwise everything was great. The team who came to install the closets were super nice as well. All in all great experience again and wont hesitate to use them again.

The team at Closets By Design was great. They gave me many options and budgets. I love my new closet.

Very satisfied with the work done. The installer was very knowledgeable, friendly and clean.
The one surprise was that vaccinations aren’t required by the company so I asked that he wear a mask while he was near us and he agreed.

Closet is very nice , helped us arrange clothes and other stuff. The boards are narrow though, wish they extended out more. Overall looks great , wish I could add lights
