Service from hell

Like most people in here, my experience with Transglobal has been horrible! We bought a brand new washer dryer which the washer stopped raining the water after 4 months. I called Sears for the warranty and they referred us to this company. The technician was not a professional. He used my baby’s hanged towel to clean the floor and hanged it back on the towel rack without letting me know. Also he went on his own to our laundry hamper and got another towel to remove the water. This is under the condition that I have given him plenty of paper towels and garbage bags!
I called and complained about this and they told me that a manager with the name Bonnie will call me. It is 8 days and no call yet! I called two days later to see if the part was ordered for the repair as the machine was still not repaired. They told me the service order is closed! After I explained to them that we are waiting for apart they apologized and send an order for the item. They still told me that the manger will call because of all the delays this closing has caused us! She hasn’t called of course. The technician called me this morning and said (with poor English) that he has now ordered the item and it will take 2-3 weeks for them to receive it! Once they have the part they will call for to schedule a service!
This the last time I will buy anything from Sears as this kind of warranty is unacceptable! Transgolabl service should not be in business!

Stove repair

I bought a Samsung range nearly 4 yrs ago, and took out the extended warranty. Something happened to it last Thursday, it went crazy, was sparking and wires burning and all the lights were flashing, oven fan wouldn't stop running, and door locked itself. I won't go into how many times I have phoned Transglobal since Thursday. That was 8 days ago...I found out today that they sent the work order to a place that is like over an hour away while I live in a fair sized city, so they had to have travel approved, on and on and on. I was told today from the repair people that they have to do up a quote, send it to Transglobal for approval, when they get approval they will order the parts and at that time someone will phone me to make an appt. I have been without a stove for over a week now, and since I am again dealing with Transglobal who knows, it will probably be like weeks before I get my stove fixed. I was frustrated when I talked to them, and I know it's not the repair mans fault, he is probably going under the guidelines of Transglobal. But excuse me, I paid for the warranty, why does everything have to approved!!!!

Oven repair

My parents are pensioners and purchased the TransGlobal Service plan through Enercare to cover repairs in their home.

November 22, 2015: My parents' oven stopped working
December 8, 2015: A repairman from TransGlobal came to look at their oven and said he needed to order a part.
December 22, 2015: My parents finally got hold of someone at TransGlobal who told them the part is coming and should be there on December 31st
December 31 2015: No part. Still no word from TransGlobal on when the oven will be fixed.
February 2 2015: No one still has not been able to tell my parents where their part is, when their oven will be fixed, or what the delay is.

Overall, the customer service is deplorable, and their wait times for service are completely unacceptable.

I would NEVER recommend this company and would tell anyone that is thinking of purchasing their service from Enercare to RUN.

To say I'm disgusted with them is an understatement.

Dishwasher Repair

I'm currently waiting for the technician to show up for the 4th attempt to repair my dishwasher as I write this HORRIBLE review for Transglobal Servies! I've been waiting over two months for this repair. After the initial assessment on Dec. 4 2015. I get a call a week later saying the part was in and a service technician would call me to book an appointment. No surprise I didn't hear from anyone in over 3 weeks. For the whole month of January trying to book an appointment and all they could tell me was there were NO APPOINTMENT TIMES AVAILABLE! How is this possible? Everytime I called I was told they would email their dispatch and someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours. This went on for weeks. After involving the supervisor named Rose Jolissant I finally got an appointment 2 weeks ago. When the technician calls me the day of the scheduled repair he asked me what was wrong with the dishwasher. I told him he should know he should be coming with the part. He was apparently scheduled for a first time assessment visit! I told him not to bother coming and called customer service again. We schedule again and the technician calls in sick. We schedule for the next day and same thing. I'm frustrated beyond any means since I've lost 3 days of work in less than a week. When I call back again they tell me the same thing they did the month prior "NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING! What kind of garbage company is this! the worst part is you can't complain to anyone because they do not care what so ever about customer service!!! So the technician who was supposed to show up today a 3pm doesn't show up. I call his cell that registered on my phone and he says my window in between 3-5pm and he'll arrive just before 5pm. 5:30pm and still a no show! I call back and no answer. He calls me back and tells me he's running behind. Thanks for the courtesy call you!!!! Since he's coming from Richmond Hill we wont arrive till 6:30pm and needs 1.5 hours for the repair! So much for my 3-5pm window I'll be lucky if this guy finishes by 8pm. I am at his mercy since if I cancel I can kiss my warranty service goodbye and wait for months again! DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THE BRICK WHO USES TRANSGLOBAL! They are a worthless company who knows nothing about courtesy or customer service!!!

BOSH Over repair

Most terrible service I ever experienced form service providers. Waited for 4 appointments – technician first never showed up, second time he determined he needs second person to help as the oven that is bracketed with microwave – haven’t he seen this first time! Technician told me he is coming back in 2 days with someone to complete the job. I waited at home and when I called Transglobal dispatch – they never even had a records of this call. Technician never booked this call. They scheduled me for a week after. I complained to BOSH – do the same so Transglobal can stop collecting money for the contracts they are servicing so terribly and we all suffer as customers!

Washing machine repair

I have been waiting for almost two months for my washing machine to get fixed. I have had four separate appointments, the latest one being today and no one has showed. I have had at least 12 people at trans global tell me that my case has been 'escalated' and that a supervisor will call me. In the almost two months I have not received 1 call from a supervisor. I have never received such poor service from any company. Do not purchase the protection plan from Enercare and do not hire Transglobal!

Washer and Dryer Repair

We reported a problem with both our washer and dryer. They were very quick to schedule the inspection. The parts were in within 1 week and from beginning to end it was only 2 weeks. They kept us updated the whole time. Very informative and professional. Can definitely say my experience was very positive. Thank you!

Dishwasher "repair"

The top rack support broke down on the left side some 2 years ago. I was asked to describe the problem and set up an appointment. Repairman came, with the wrong part. Luckily he had the right one in his truck. I was quite happy with the service. This month, the other side support went. Made an appointment and told them it was the same problem as last time, but on the other side. Repairman arrived and said he would order the part, which would take a minimum of one week to arrive. He said he was sorry but repairmen are not given parts.
A week and 2 days later I am still waiting for a lightweight, small part which should not take longer than a day to arrive, unless they're ordering from the ends of the earth.
What would happen if this was my fridge or stove? I don't feed my family for a month? Or if it was the heater - we'd be frozen to death before the part came in.
We have been buying appliances from a big box store for some 25 years, but we'll think twice now. And we won't be buying their warranty. I have to miss 2 days of work, and who knows when they will finally come to do the repair.
UPDATE - The repairman came after a week and a half - with the wrong part. He said he would reorder the part. That was 2 weeks ago tomorrow, and we have heard nothing further.
Totally unacceptable. I've been waiting for a simple repair for a month now.

top rack for dishwasher

Have maintenance coverage with Enercare. Phoned for service for my dishwasher, top rack is broken, need a new one. Trans Global contacted me to set an appointment up for Friday, September 18, 2015. Got a call Friday, Sept. 18th, from service man wanting to know the model # of dishwasher, was told he had to order part. Got email Tuesday September 22nd, part is in, call to make appointment for service date. I called, set up appointment for service man to come Monday Sept. 28th. Made arrangements to be home Monday. Got email Friday afternoon that the part was not in and expect it to be in September 30th!! I thought the part was in Tuesday, Sept 22nd!! I live in the GTA where many suppliers carry Whirlpool dishwasher parts! Trans Global is just stalling!! When my dishwasher will be fixed I do no know!! If I was not with Enercar I would get another service company. I went through the same thing with Trans Global in March 2015...Enercar ended up giving me $$for a new washing machine that Trans Global could not repair! The machine was only three years old. I ended up giving it to a friend who repaired it and is now using it at his cottage. I do not understand why Enercar (Direct Energy) uses Trans Global. Enercar is doing their loyal customers a disservice. What a nightmare dealing with Trans Global!!!

I must change the previous review from a "0" to a "5". The Trans Global technician came today, September 29, 2015, and in no time my dishwasher was working! He explained that when he first received the parts for the dishwasher the supplier did not send everything he had requested, the reason for the delay. As soon as the parts were all in he called me. The technician's name was Darmo. He was polite and very efficient in his work. He cleaned up before leaving. Top technician... Trans Global should be proud to call Darmo their employee! Darmo was not at all like the technician that I dealt with earlier in the year with my washing machine. Darmo is a rare find, too bad not every technician from Trans Global is like him. Consequently, because of the exceptional service I received from Darmo I am changing my review from a "0" to a "5".

The Brick sofa's & chaise

Called 3 different times over the last three weeks and given different reference numbers. Someone supposed to call back in 3-5 days. Never happens. Phone up and wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer who can't do anything but give another reference number. Never pay for this service or use The Brick. Furniture and Service is the worst I have ever come across
