Solex Group Professional Home Inspection

Vahn Balabian of Solex Group conducted a very professional and thorough inspection of the property we were interested in purchasing.
He inspected every part of the house and took pictures of the problem areas. He explained everything as he inspected the property so that we understand exactly where the problems in the house are situated so that we can take corrective action. He promptly send us a detailed report of the inspection along with pictures. We would certainly recommend his services to our friends who are interested in buying a property especially first time home buyers.

This was my first experience in obtaining a home inspection. Weeks leading up to the event, I had searched online looking for reviews, consulting with friends and educating myself on what to look for and who to contact. I came across Solex Group and was impressed by the reviews and professional credentials that were found on the website.

Vahn arrived to the property site early, described what I could expect before and after the appointment and thoroughly took his time to inspect the home.

I was impressed with his knowledge and his genuine personality. He spent a considerable amount of time in taking us through all the details - from major to minor. Afterward I was assured I would receive my full report very soon. Within 24 hours I received a comprehensive report, which included pictures (this is very helpful as during the whole process you might forget things) and acted as an easy reference.

We were involved in a bidding war (or two!) and were not able to complete a home inspection as one of the conditions. After we moved in we wanted to complete some renos, but wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything important that needed to be done before we went ahead with renos. We had made arrangements with another home inspector that we found on here about 2 weeks in advance, but he canceled on us a couple days before the appointment. I emailed Vahn on Friday night at midnight and he got back to me right away and was able to squeeze me in on the Saturday afternoon after another appointment.

Let me say I was very impressed with Vahn. He was very professional at every step of the way and very honest. He inspected the exterior first and walked us through everything he noted. He then did the interior and walked us through as well. He took about 3.5 hours and it was a very educational. He was very thorough and got our report back to us the next day. He was very knowledgeable and gave us alot of great ideas that we could do and needed to do to make our home safer.

This was my first home inspection although I've heard many stories from friends of their not so good experiences.

I was initially worried that many items would be missed or overlooked or dismissed. Let me reassure you that Vahn was extremely thorough in his inspection. His approach is very professional, he fully inspected each aspect of the home, then carefully walked me through each and every part of house.

Not only did I get a good concept of the quality of the home, but found the experience very educational since I was able to ask Vahn all kinds of questions which he was able to provide answers or suggestions for.

I would highly recommend anyone buying a home to use his services, however, if you are trying to sell your home you may want to look elsewhere since Vahn is a very honest guy!!!
