After we found a small leak in our basement (2 1/2 years old) coming from the water heater. I contacted Strong Plumbing via HomeStars and got a very quick response. Then with the help of a picture and a couple of more e-mails, Val was able to diagnose the problem. He arrived a couple of days later to replace the mixing valve (with a broken gasket), which if left unattended, could have led to bigger problems later. Val was courteous, professional, responsive and very pleasant to deal with and gave me a couple of other hints to watch as a new homeowner. I recommend Val definitely and would call on him again should the need arise.

I purchased an Zucchetti showerhead over two years ago and it started to leak. I called Strong Plumbing and spoke to Valentin who told me to call the retailer whom I purchase the parts from for the necessary part as he would need it to fix the problem. The part was still under warranty, got the part, Valentin came in and the problem is all fixed. He was punctual and explained the problem to me and offered other plumbing advice I would certainly follow in the future. Very polite, nice gentleman, I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Update: The leak came back shortly after and Valentin came back and took a look. His conclusion is that the water in Toronto is too hard and there was nothing he could do. That does not seem like a good explanation as all my neighbours would have the same problem if that was the case. I happen to know my neighbours well and my problem is isolated to my home.

To be fair, the gentleman came back to look at the problem but I'm not satisfied as the problem was not fixed and the explanation provided is not plausible. He might be a great plumber, but he didn't fix this problem so I can't recommend him to my friends.

I had a serious leakage problem under my 25 year old kitchen sink. I found Valentin online, called him and he was AT my house within 30 minutes - I was very lucky to catch him between jobs.
Valentin explained in advance what the issue was, how to best fix it and gave me a quote. He was clean, polite, efficient AND completed the repair promptly. I am VERY pleased with this service. Thank you!

We had a broken pipe in our basement.
Mr. Valentin promptly replied to our late afternoon phone call, appointment was set for the next day. That day, he called to let me know he is on his way, fixed the pipe with ease, and left our basement like nothing happened.

I found Valentine on HomeStars last year, and emailed him again last week for two separate jobs - our old leaky laundry tub faucet needed replacing, and we wanted shutoff valves installed on our kitchen sink to facilitate replacing the sink during an upcoming renovation. Valentine answered my email the same night I sent it, and came two days later to do the job. As before, his work was excellent, and he uses high quality parts. He also spent some time looking at my kitchen plumbing with me and discussing our renovation plans, which involve some minor relocation of the dishwasher and sink, but probably no additional plumbing work - it was very helpful to get his opinion about what we should watch for when we work on the renovation.

I would recommend Valentine to anyone, and I know who we will call the next time we need a plumber.

I now believe all the rave reviews of previous customers of Val, a gifted plumber. It would be hard to find anything to fault him with and it was a total pleasure having him complete his job quickly and considerately.

Valentin was prompt in his response to me, on time for his appointment,professional and very helpful. Very reasonable prices too. I will definitely use Strong Plumbing again - he makes his competitors look weak!

After getting several estimates from HomeStar contractors,I decided to go with Valentin from Strong Plumbing.
I had him install # toilets & shut-offs,3 bathroom sinks,faucets & shut-offs,laundry & kitchen faucets with shut-offs,& also a washing-machine hose bib,hoses & shut-offs.
Valentin provided me with great sevice at reasonable price.He was very
friendly & polite....extemely fast & professional.
Clean-up was good with no mess left.
It was a pleasure to have Val work in my home & I would definitely have him back for future plumbing work.
