The finish on my 10-year-old kitchen cupboard lower doors had peeled off and they looked awful. Jeff worked his magic and made them look brand new! He finished the job sooner than promised and I am completly satistisfied with the work he did. Thank you Jeff for a job well done!

We asked Jeff to come and do an onsite repair to a large very valuable solid walnut dining table that had been cracked by movers in our recent move to our new home. In addition, we had a wooden drawer in a bedside table which had been completely cracked, which he took away to repair. Jeff was extremely pleasant and detailed in his visit. The finished results were exceptional as both pieces were better than new. Considerable damage by the movers had been entirely fixed, and the results were tremendous - the prior damage was not visible at all. The cost savings to us of this repair versus replacement were considerable. Don't give up on something which is broken - let Jeff take a look - chances are he will be able to get it at least as good as new!

We asked Jeff to fix our 6 antique dining chairs which we completely wobbly and unsafe. He is professional, kind and very thorough in his evaluation and in his work. Fantastic job, done on time and all as agreed. Would recommend anytime. We are thrilled to have our chairs entirely usable again!

Jeff Linder, his partner and employees refinished a 1930's Dining Room suite,coffee table,end tables and magazine table for us when we moved. They also repaired other antique pieces for us. My daughter inherited a very special table that has been in the family for over 3 generations that has a number of delicate inlays in different wood that was badly damaged by water. Aside from the dollar value nothing can replace the sentimental value of this piece that needed to be repaired by a reputable company. After searching Homestars and having some companies come in and quote on the repairs, I finally settled on Jeff Linder at Wood Specialties. His manner, attention to detail and level of professionalism gave me the comfort level to have him work on this very special piece. I stressed the importance of this piece to Jeff and made sure he understood time was not a concern, quality of workmanship and the final result was more important to me. After approx. 8 weeks Jeff returned the table in a condition that was way beyond my expectations. He has also done work on a desk and padded headboard that both received professional treatment and look spectacular in our home…….I have no hesitation recommending him for restoration on your furniture and plan to use him again in the near future.

I had purchased a solid mahogony dining room suite of table, chairs and buffet-but it had been painted. I found wood specialist Jeff Linder online and he has stripped the suite as well as restored some problem areas. The work is absolutely fantastic. Jeff has been delightful to work. Thanks to Jeff I have an antique table that does not have to be covered up to hide
a large water stain. The job of restoring this table and a much loved kitchen table was
